No this sounds like the unloader valve . What dose is when the trigger is off it allows the presserized water to recurilate back through the punp . The theromal relif valve is just what it says tempature sensitive blows at 145 degrees and works more like the thermostat in your car. The unloaded valve is under the pressure control knob and its part of it most of them are not serivceable but it may just be stuck if you take it off spray some WD 40 in it you may be able free it up It is likely it has an adjustment on the top of it it mabey under a plastic cap that you have to pop off but the adjustment is not likely the problem but may help you in freeing to needle valve inside of it .The problom with powerwashers is every body wants to sell them but they don't build them . A half of dozen companys make the parts any there it olny 2 differant disgns for the unloaders and pumps and the cam system that makes the pump turn so if you need parts you realy have to do some home work on line and check a lot of differant ID numbers Well i hope this will help you some but try to free the needle in the unloader valve first because that is your problem

D51822 plunger will fire (and impact wood) but will not retract enough to grab/push out a nail.

Dewalt nailers have some vinyl orings that fail. Usually found within the trigger valve, headvalve, and between the cylinder and cylinder spacer (white plastic piece). A dewalt nailer with failing orings may not leak air however. The vinyl orings tend to start to crumble and the tacky-crumbling pieces tend to create a seal. Easy way to check condition of the vinyl seals in a Dewalt is to remove the trigger valve and look at the orings on the firing pin/stem (2mmx1.5mm orings). If these two orings are soft and sticky, then orings inside of gun most likely the same. Check band on the outside of the cylinder (part # 390159-00) is what causes piston to return to top. But also check to too tight or too loose piston oring, bent shaft of driver and worn/ broken lower bumper. If all is well with internal parts and piston does not return to top, too much air is leaking past nose of gun. Oring kit sold by dewalt will contain most of the orings needed. The kit may not have orings for the trigger. You will at need two orings (2mm x 1.5mm) for the trigger valve stem or just replace the valve. Use white grease or silicone paste lube on all the orings. Good luck.

Your tank check valve is stuck/broke. It's on the tank end of the line from the pump to the tank. It is supposed to close when the pump stops to keep air in the tank and let the system bleed pressure out of the pump so the motor can start when there is pressure in the tank. The part you need is CAC-437-2 and is available through searspartsdirect.com.

Craftsman evolv braid nailer leaks air around the trigger when i try to nail. it does not nail sears no. 00915206000 mfg no. 42081 (for kit) on gun model:6G28/F50

Air leaking from trigger when trying to nail indicates that the headvalve is stuck or headvalve orings are dry and allowing air to pass. Remove the head and pull out the headvalve piston. Examine orings for cuts or broken (replace as needed if orings worn and cannot make seal). If headvalve was stuck/dry, lube with plenty of silicone paste lube (sold at Lowes in the plumbing dept. ). Should be good to go. Good luck

Air compresor Craftsman 921.153101 it spound like is one but it wont run at all. It sounds like the motor is stuck

if its belt driven ,unplug it(safety first)remove the belt and try to turn the pump by hand.if the pump turn plug it back without the belt. and try it .if the motor doesnt run.check the contacts on your pressure switch.if they are ok and try again.if not you need a new motor.if the motor ,the pressure switch contacts, and the pump are fine.put the belt back back on bleed your tank to zero with an air gun and try to run it.if it work well till it cuts of check if your bleeder release air.you might have pressure stuck in your pump.the compressor needs to release pressure for a soft start.hope this help!

Yes, the manufacturer should have a parts kit for replacing the orings and seals..it's probably leaking right where the motor meets the impeller...there should be a seal inside there...the rebuild kit should have a blow-up diagram to assist you in changing parts

SOUNDS LIKE THE VALVES IN YOUR HEAD ARE NOT CLOSING ALL THE WAY. THEY ARE MOST LIKELY REED VALVES, THIN STRIPS OF METAL THAT OPEN AND CLOSE WHEN THE PISTON MOVES. MAKE SURE THEY ARE CLOSING ALL THE WAY (NOT CARBONED UP). DID YOU REMOVE THE HEAD AND DID YOU PUT BACK LIKE YOU FOUND IT. NOT TURNED OR FLIPPED OVER.
