Your leads do not seem to help. My questions are simple and should be answerable directly. In effect I want to purchase your product and I wonder why I am being charged $18 for this sales info.

This will depend on what you purchased. If you purchased a single user license then no only one PC is covered. If you got the 3 pack then you can install it on 3 computers. The renewal date is 365 days from the registration and installation of the product. You can view this from the Norton control panel along the bottom listing days left in subscription.

Antivirus - Single PC - 39.99$USD
Internet Security for 3 computers - 69.99$USD

First things first: Fixya.com does not own nor are affiliated with Symantec. www.symantec.com is the maker and owner of the Norton Antivirus program.

Two: to find out if you are protected, open your norton control panel from the task bar (norton sysmbol by the clock) and check your subscription information. If you do not have norton installed them you need to install it with the link from norton or off the paper if you purchased a disc.

Your product key is under cover of Symantec anti-virus, but to make it work proper, you have to renew it.

To renew your product, visit the following web page where you can renew it : http://buy.norton.com/estore/mf/upgradeRenewal?sfid=vkQNNPvFlT5sL3JlhjDhxY7QNLRQ5dNJZfjCYLQbhP2hyt1xLJyr!1094881714!1301242405428.

https://licensing.symantec.com/acctmgmt/index.jsp?localeStr=en_US.

As you did not nention your version, it can not be determined with only key that whether your 2 PCs are covered.

The cost of upgradetion is also depends on product version, visit this web-link, and you will get the full information.

Getting late started and many virus

If your system will not boot up correctly and you suspect a virus is the problem, a recommended solution is to start your computer in safe mode and run a virus scan. By running your computer in safe mode, non-essential processes do not start and non-core components are disabled. In other words, only the minimum necessary programs will load. Tough to remove viruses, spyware and other malware usually have no chance to run and disrupt your system and can more easily be removed.
To run a virus scan in safe mode, you must have active anti virus software installed on your computer.
To run a virus scan in safe mode, follow these steps:
1.If your computer is on, shut it down
2.Power on your computer
3.Immediately after you power on your computer, repeatedly press the [F8] key (about once per second)
4.In the Windows Advanced Options Menu screen, use the arrows to select Safe Mode and presss [Enter]
5.Select your current operating system and press [Enter]
6.Select the user you would like to login under (if applicable)
7.When your system finishes booting, click the Start button on your task bar
8.Move your cursor over All Programs and navigate to your anti virus program
9.Click on your antiv virus program to run it and follow the anti virus program's normal steps to run a virus scan
10.After the virus scan is complete, Delete all detected viruses
11.Close out of your anti virus software
12.Restart your computer (it should start in normal mode)

Your Feedback is greatly appreacited.Thank you for using FIXYA.

Let me explain you what happened.
when you registered it ihe online internet server checked your key and registered you as an authentic user.
after formatting your pc this registry key was deleted from your pc on the other hand the kaspersky server has already noticed that your key is in use but you have lost it from your pc.

the only thing you can do is to contact costumer care , report the problem and ask for the key replacement.

Can't update or even find eTrust EZ Anti Virus on my computer

I was using SBC Global while in California. I moved to Oregon and am currently using Comcast. The problem was that my anti virus was part of my SBC Global package. I was able to contact SBC Global where they informed me that they use Symantac which uses Norton anti virus. I was able to contact and download Norton uninstall tool to uninstall the anti virus. I also uninstalled the SBC Global software (AT&T Yahoo) and that enabled me to install new anti virus software.
