Your "access point" means the thing that your computer connects to in order to get on the internet. An "access point" can be the dsl modem, a router or switch inbetween the computer and the internet connection or the point of entry to the internet - depending on what you are using to connect and get on line.

You mentioned you have a broad band connection with t mobile. Is this the T mobile home service link that gives you regular phone service and internet? If so - what is the name of the box your connecting your phone and pc to?

What is the name of the equipment that t mobile gave you to use that broad band link?

Are you using a desktop or a laptop? Wireless connection? or a wired connection with a ethernet cable (looks like a phone cable but a little bigger on the plug end)?

To answer my questions go back to your original problem posted on fixya and use the comment or reply link in blue.

When I connect one particular access point the whole network goes to limited

Have you had a technician diagnose the fault? It might be that there is a physical problem with it.

Hello I'm trying to download this web-cam i bought at and estate sale. im having a problem. i have windows 7 64bit and i have broad-band

Most older cameras will not have 64-bit drivers. The Windwos XP drivers available for this camera will not work with Windows 7 64-bit. You will need a newer camera.

Im using htc hd2 t8585 model mobile since last 6 months but it was not getting connect to the internet even i have net balance

first call customer care of your mobile operator and ask them apn for windows mobile, just note the apn (access point name). next go to settings, open connections, again open connection from sub menu go to add new connection, you can put operator name in my connection column and in the below column select cellular line gprs, click next, enter access point name, enter next leave user name password and domain blank, click finish, do a soft reset and try opening internet explorer, if this dosent work delete all other setting and do setting again,
and if still it dosent work you need to perform a hard reset and do setting again it will work 100%.
beware if you do hard reset all you data on phone ,like contacts will be lost so do a back up before attempting hard reset

I have a printer connected to my computer this on a usb and on broad band i wont to use my printer on my other lap top thats also got broad band . how do you do this

Assuming Windows XP, others similar.

Start >> Settings >> Printers & Faxes.
Right click on the printer, choose sharing option.
Enable Sharing, enter a simple name for the printer.
Hit Apply and Okay buttons. You may now get a notice from your firewall program, adjust settings accordingly.

On the laptop with no printer,
Start >> Settings >> Printers & Faxes.
Install Printer, Check Network Printer, Search Network.
Enter driver disk when prompted.
You will only be able to print when the first computer is running.

Some caveats will be firewalls, routers / access points in AP Isolation mode, different operating systems (conflicts sometimes), and issue that the host computer has to be on for anybody else to print to it. Much fewer headache to use a printer that has networking built into it, or use a router that supports USB printers.
