Question about Fisher Paykel EcoSmart GWL15
Hi, My smart drive 8 Pride 5.5 (8 years old) top loader stopped spining after a brief grinding sort of noise. All other functions are fine, no beeps etc. In the spin cycle I can see it is tryingb to start rotating but not going. How can I fix this? Is this a problem with some sort of a clutch mechanism not holding ?
There is a transmission clutch that engages for the spin cycle. A gear has worn or broken a tooth. Replacement of the transmission hispeed spin cycle assembly is required.
The other comments are of no use. You must get parts from an Authorized Fisher & Paykel dealer, or have an authorized repairman service the machine.
