Question about Proform Crosswalk 500 Treadmill

1 Answer

I have a proform crosswalk (500E I believe). Anyway, I was having problems with the belt. I thought it just needed lubrication b/c it was like my foot would come down and make the belt stick to the deck. So I figured there was some friction there. After lubing it and tightening some I am still having this problem. Any advice is much welcomed!

How do I get the belt unstuck from the right side?

You will need to loosen up the right side one revolution, then run the belt at .5 revolution. Watch the belt then retighten the right side slowly until the belt stays in the center. Once its running in the center for at least 1 min without moving over more to right you can stop tightening.

Proform crosswalk 515 control board works but belt won't move/

lube the deck belt, you have deck worn, proceed in according with the instruction manual maintenance. 2) check the drive belt and replace it if necessary and tight 3) tes the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair or replace 4) test the output voltage from main board, for input voltage for the main motor, if there are NOT, the board is faulty.
Try if you can RUN the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting.
sincerely. God bless you.

My proform crosswalk 590 circuit breaker keep turn off after run for five mins

Have you lubricated the walking belt & deck?? Are the deck and/or belt worn out and require replacing??
Check the deck for damage and wear, check the belt (feel the outer edge and then the center. Is the center fuzzy??)
If the deck and belt are good, lubricate them and try again.
Is the belt to tight??
Are you using an extension cord??
The machine is drawing too much current, usually deck & belt or defective motor will cause your breaker to go..

The deck needs to be lubricated. The lubricant can be purchase @ gympart.com. LUBRICATION PROCEDURE: 1. Turn off and unplug treadmill. 2. Cut off the end of the tube of lubricant. 3. Holding the tube in one hand, insert the tube underneath the treadbelt halfway between front and back and halfway between right and left. 4. Squeeze the full contents of the tube onto the deck in a circular pattern in the center 1/3 of the deck. 5. It keeps shuting down

If your on it and the duration is every 15 min then the unit needs to have lubrication applied between the belt and deck with a silicon base lubricant. If that does not fix the problem then you may have damage the belt and deck and they need to be replaced. Since not knowing the manufacturer' name refer to your owners manual for contact info

My treadmill turns off after 1/2 hour what's wrong with it?

If it's exactly at .5 hours, that sounds like a programming issue. No if it just around 30 mins, this sounds like it could be a lubrication problem. Try lubing the walk belt to see if there is a difference. With belt going that long, lubricating should solve the problem.
