How to change door seal on miele w698

Normally they're held on with 2 wire rings, 1 at the edge of the seal at the door opening and the other on the edge of the outer drum. Unplug your machine and remove the lid, this will help access and give you more light to work with. Remove the ring at the door opening first and pull seal from the lip. Access can now be made for the one at the drum. Do the same for the one on the drum.

When putting in new one reverse the procedure and start at the drum, make sure you have the seal the right way around, normally holes in bottom of seal for drainage. Thread the seal over the lip and then put ring on. Same process for the front. Put lid on and plug machine in and test for leaks.

How to remove powder drawer indesit w1a101

see this causes and fix it. God bless you

Try to identify roughly the area the leak is coming from. This will eleminate some of the following

Hose Connections
Check the rubber washers or replace if the hoses are leaking at the water inlet valve.

Door Seal
This is a common place for leaks. Carefully check by partially pulling seal inside out and check for punctures, pens, pencils... Additionaly if the door is not closing properly it may need a door adjustment. This can easily be done by loosening the hinge bolts on the front panel, adjusting and retighten. The seal is also known to get lightly snagged by zippers or rub by heavy items when close are being removed. This tends to cause the seal to get damaged at the six o'clock position. This is sometimes hardly noticeable but if it is leaking from the bottom of the door replace the door seal.

Water Inlet Valve
If the hose connections are good to the water inlet valve check that water is not leaking from the valve itself it is replace the water inlet valve.

Drain Pump
Check the drain pump housing and all hose connections. The drain pump is behind the lower panel, behind the back panel, and sometimes removal of the front panel. Hoses can be tightened. If hoses or pump housing is leaking replace the pump assembly.

Outer Drum
The outer drum is 2 halves bolted together some washers have a seal between others do not. If the washer is leaking between the seems disassembly of the washer will be necessary. The top panel, console, front panel, door seal, struts. Follow the video for the strut replacement and remove the top springs and the inner and outer drum will pull out the front

How to replace grease seal on rear axle

Leaking oil at the rear wheels can be one of two things, Easy fix is brake fluid, this would be the rear brake wheel cylinder leaking. Check your brake fluid tank under the hood for low fluid. If that is ok. Your leak may be your rear axle shaft seal. You need to remove the tire/wheel ether way. Jack up the car to pull the wheel, take your lugs loose while the tire is still on the ground, it is easy to take them loose this way. Take the EM: brake off, and jack up this side of the car. Your car could have disk or drums as both are offered on some Dodges. Once the tire is off you will see if you have disk or drums brakes. If drums you will need to pull the drum off at access the brake cylinder to see if that is leaking or not. If drums you have to back off the brake shoes by the adjusting wheel thru a small access window in the back plate. If you have disk brakes the caliper is right there and will be easy to see if it is leaking. If you have determined it is the rear axle seal leaking, this may be best done by a shop, due to needing a few special tools to remove the axle and then reinstall a seal. You will need a slide hammer. If drum brakes you will have to remove the brake backing plate, this means shoes and all hardware, please take pictures and get as good focus as you can to see how everything goes back together. Once down to the axle mounting, remove the 4 bolts and attach the slide hammer and pop out the axle, catch any fluid that will leak out, once out you can determine which type of seal set up you have as some have press fit collars that may have to be cut off. . Hope this helps FixYa up.

2 issues.\1st is the truck has dual fuel tanks and

The only way the empty tank could leak is that the switch that controls the two tanks is pumping fuel into your empty tank. This is a common problem with the Ford trucks. In fact Ford had a recall on these to replace the switch for this very problem.
Problem 2: The F-250 you have probably has a full floating axle in it. Remove the wheel. Remove the brake drum. Remove the 8 bolts on the end of the axle stub. Remove the axle. Then you will need to remove the large axle lock nut and the lock ring under it. Then remove one more axle nut. Carefully remove the hub and dont let the outer bearing drop to the floor as it might damage it. Flip the hub over and remove the old wheel seal. Check the bearings. If o.k. put them back in the hub. Install the new wheel seal. Then reverse the disassembly procedure to place it all back together. When finished refill the differential. And be sure to clean the oil from the brake drum and replace the brake shoes if they are contaminated so badly that you can't get them clean again. No special tools needed. Just a good all around assortment to accomplish this task. If you need to purchase tools it would be a good investment anyway. Tools never go out of style. They have uses over and over and pretty much pay for themself.
