SOURCE: My wii system will not turn on. every time I hit

Hi, you may just need to reset the power lead, to do this unplug it from the wii, then unplug it from the wall, now leave it all unplugged for 5 min this will allow the power lead to reset then plug it all back in and give it a try.

if after doing the above it still dont work then the chances are the wii has over heated so check if you have any warranty left as this fault is covered, if you dont then you need to find someone who can reflow the solder for you on the 2 main chips under the heat sink, this is not easy to do and could cause more harm then good so be warned.

let me know what happens after unplugging the lead ok

When i turn my xbox 360 on the green light stays on for 30 seconds and then turns red and wont play what would be wrong

While on the RED light. Press and hold the "SYNC" button (don't let go if it during any of the stages). Now press and release the "EJECT button. Note the amount of flashing lights. Do this three more times (still holding the sync button) each time noting the amount of lights that flash. This will give you a total of 4 numbers. My XBOX 360 will not turn on. The power bar has a green light but pressing the eject button or power button on the console will not turn it on. We have tried plugging it in to a different outlet but that...

Hi christoph52893,

If the Xbox 360 power supply light is green, this means the Xbox 360 power supply is ok and it is an issue with the console itself. You will need to contact Xbox 360 customer support to service your console. However, if you have a flashing orange or yellow light, it means that your console is fine but instead there is something wrong with your power supply. It indicates that it's not getting enough power.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Original xbox continous blinking green light, no eject & loading

sounds like a bad cable between the console and the TV, the XBOX is notorious for having issues if the cable isn't the correct one (a Microsoft one) or damaged.

the flash green with nothing else happening can be a failed bios.. coma console variant. It's possible to fix it with a chip, but uneconomic considering the price of a working box these days. It can also be a failed ide controller or bad ram..whatever, it's normally a scrapper with these symptoms unless you have a good junkbox...
If you have an xbox that fell it's always worth changing over the dvd drives, as they can cause weird faults as well, (as mentioned above re: unknown disks) as the green flashing is the usual "loading disk" message.

Flashing yellow ring on original xbox

when you dropped it you probably damaged the motherboard... take the motherboard out and you will see that it is a computer one. all you have to do is download the xbox drivers and such onto a new mother board and stick it in. that will fix it if it is a mother board problem... seeing as you dropped it it could be tons of other things
