the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

When I turn on my Dell Inspiron 910 mini, it says tht media test failure, check cable. Operating system not found. Can somebody help me? I dnt know what to do

check the Boot order in the BIOS and make sure that is isn't set to Boot from LAN or Network first as the error "PXE *** Media Test Failure" ( where *** refers to the NIC card ID )

does in fact refer to a pc that is trying to Boot from the LAN or Network first.

If your boot order is set to boot from your Hard Drive first then I would suspect a bad Hard Drive.

Reboot your computer.

This is necessary, as entering the BIOS utility requires that you be outside of your normal operating system.

Press the key indicated during the startup messages to enter the BIOS.

This is traditionally either the "Esc / Delete" or of the "F2" key, but it can be anything, so pay attention to the screen as your computer loads up.

Navigate through the BIOS menu screens, using the arrow keys navigate to advanced bios features press enter to which device has been set to boot from.

using the arrow keys load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults this will change the boot order press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

hope this helps

Proxy setting 130

Exactly error: "Unable to connect to the proxy server
A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary between your computer and other servers. Right now, your system is configured to use a proxy, but Google Chrome can't connect to it.
Here are some suggestions:
If you use a proxy server, check your proxy settings or check with your network administrator to make sure the proxy server is working.
If you don't believe you should be using a proxy server, try the following steps: Go to Wrench menu > Options > Under the Hood > Change proxy settings > LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN."
Error 130 (net::ERR_PROXY_CONNECTION_FAILED): Proxy server connection failed."

Ethenet not reconized

Hi, If your son' s computer has a LAN port, then install the LAN driver. LAN port is different from modem. Modem is used for dial-up connection while LAN uses broadband or dsl connection. If you do not know where or how to find the LAN driver, post the manufacturer and model name of your LAN or the motherboard. You can also find it by right clicking the My Computer icon->Manage->Device Manager. On the right side, Expand the Network Adapter. You will then find the software that you are going to reinstall. Another thing is to try to update the driver if it works or not. Here are the steps :
  1. Right click My Computer icon.
  2. Click Manage
  3. A box will appear (Computer Management), Click Device Manager
  4. On the right side, Click and expand Network Adapters
  5. Right click the software, click update driver.
  6. Wait 'til it finds the necessary software.
  7. If it does, then your finished installing the Network Adapter driver. If it says it cannot find the necessary software, you have to manually install it.
  8. IF NOT yet installed, copy the Network Adapter software and paste it in google to find your Network Adapter installer.
I hope this fix your problem. Drop me a comment again if you encounter some problems, ok? I will assist you.

I am trying to install my belkin g wireless router with out a cd...please help

hey dude! i think that cd is only a manual...what you will do to setup is......
connect the router with the lan cable trough the pc..in your computer, find the MY NETWORK PLACES and View Network Connection and right click the local area network and check the ip address of the router...example..192.168.1.1
you put that ip in the internet toolbar and press enter and check the username and password...try to use admin/admin..and find out the configuration...dont hesitate to contact me if any doubt.

Hangs up on boot

It is trying to boot from a network. You need to get it to boot from the optical drive (CD/DVD drive), there's no other way of installing the os, unless you can get another identical machine to load it with. If it doesn't recognize the optical in the boot menu, then you may have been more than a hard drive crash.
