The total combined load allowed on the outlet is 100W. Make sure you are testing the outlets with a low-current device like a radio or low wattage incandescent lamp (25 or 40 W) or a night light (7 W). Also, be aware that you must have the receiver turned on for the device to work as the outlets are switched according to the main power.
If you still can't get them to work, it could be an issue with the fuse - you should take it in for service.

Yamaha RX-V2600 completely dead ... any ideas

If it is plugged in to a working outlet, and the AC cord is not broken, there is a problem in the power supply of the receiver. This provides all of the DC voltages that make all functions work. If it is completely dead, the display, the lights, the audio, (everything) is not working; and it is not likely there are separate problems in all of these areas at the same time.

My wiii is not working here is what happened i i got the wii out of the bag then i put it onthe pllug and it wont work what should i do ?>>>>>>>>>>

Hi rosechick201,
Reset the AC adapter, this usually fixes the problem..the good thing about it is that it only takes 2 minutes.
You do this by unplugging the AC adapter from the wall outlet and from the Wii console and leave it out for at least 2 minutes.
It is also a good idea to remove everything that is plugged to the USB port and Controller ports.
While you are waiting, I suggest you check if the wall outlet is working properly by plugging a different electronic device. Also check the Wii's AC adapter for any signs of physical damage. If you see any such as a crack in the housing or a bruised wire, it will be best to replace it or have a qualified Tech to fix it.
After waiting for 2 minutes and after confirming that there are no issues with the wall outlet and there are no physical damages to the AC adapter, Re-connect the Adapter to your Wii and directly plug the cord to the wall outlet. Do not use a power strip or a surge protector.
At this point, you should now see the power light staying on and you should now be able to use your console.
If the unit is still not working, remove any unlicensed products such as memory cards, controllers , etc. as these can cause damage to your system. Make sure that the console is properly ventilated as overheating also causes the unit to shut -down. And do another 2 minute - unplug test.
If these procedures does not fix the problem, it will be best for you to bring the console AND the AC adapter to a qualified technician.
I hope I was able to help. Hoping to hear good results.
All the best to you rosechick201.

How do you reset Yamaha rx-v3300 receivers to factory settings? some of the settings got changed and we are not sure what they were

A reset would REQUIRE you to go through EVERY setting anyway, so why don't you just go through every setting manually and leave the ones that look ok alone?

3. In the black screen [Command prompt] type Start http://192.168.2.1 & press enter.

4. If still does not work.

5. In the black screen [Command prompt] type ipconfig & check what it the IP address under ethernet adapter local area connection,

6. It should be 192.18.2.x where x is a value from 2 to 254 & the default gateway should be 192.168.2.1.

7. If you get 169.254.xx.xx or any other numbers then try unpluggin the power from the router & pluggin the power back in after 30 sec.

8. Still the same numbers try pushing on the reset button at the rear of the router using a paper clip or pin for 10sec & release it after 10 sec once again unplug the power from the router wait 30 sec & plug back after 30 sec.

9. Again try step 3.

Are there fuses i can reach with the RX-V3300 Natural Sound Home Theater Receiver

Look at the Impedance Switch on the back and make sure it is firmly in one or the other position and that it matches the impedance of your speakers.

Make sure no speaker wires are shorted to anything.

Unplug for 30 seconds and try again.

or you can remove all of the plugs from the console: AC, remote sensor, AV. This is important: You must also unplug the AC from the electrical outlet. Then wait 45 seconds, then plug the AC adapter back into the wall and your console. Power On.
