When i turn on the projector, it begins to start up but then the red temp light comes on and the projector shuts off. I have replaced the bulb, but it still does this.

I have cleaned the filter, and yes it sounds like the fans all come on. It only starts up for a few short seconds and then the red light comes on and it shuts off immediately.

Have you cleaned out the air filter recently. Do all the fans come on when it starts up for the short period that it's on?

Lamp LED should be lit when the projector is in Standby. However, the problem you are describing sounds like one of two issues. Either the lamp is bad and needs replaced, or there is a power supply fault. If you have tried replacing the lamp already, make sure you reset the lamp counter or the projector may still not function properly.

does the temp warning light come on when the projector shuts off? if so you may also try cleaning the air vent filters and ensure there is proper air flow around the projector. if that checks out then have the projector serviced as the power supply is likely suspect.

I have a model PLC-XT11 and when I turn the power on the temp light and green ready light begin to flash. The red lamp light is on steady. I replace the lamp but no luck.

one or more of the fans may not be working right. also, the temp sensor may be shot. if the last time you used it it wasn't shut down properly, it may still be in cool-down mode.

Temp fault

check all the internal fans, if even one does not start, the projector will soon shut down!
every fan has three wires, one is the stop signal, that should stay "low" in most models.
this wire might be white or yellow, the red is + supply/blue or black is -supply(or gnd).

Hi there

This sounds like a faulty Powersupply.
