You must have the CD/DVD, no way around this.

Reset to factory setting

It would be helpful if we knew the Make, Model of Laptop and the OS. Without knowing ANY info, reboot, select the correct F key to boot to Recovery Software, select Full Recovery, provided you have a Recovery Partition. ALL your data will be lost, ALL updates must be installed, your laptop will return to the day it came out of the box. OR, buy a Factory Recovery DVD/CD's from your Laptop Manufacturer.

I have an asus Eee pc 1001 HA i cannot reboot it without a usb but when go into the bios setup the boot booster opion to enable or disable isnt even there how do i get it back???

Wow, that's a bummer. Lesson Learned, never buy a laptop without a cd drive. It will come back to haunt you. Your only option if there are no settings in the bios to change will be to do a Recovery. You'll lose everything.

You reboot your computer when you turn it off and back on ... no CD required.

What is exactly that you expect to accomplish?

When I got it from ebay it said that I need to format and reboot and it doset have a cd rive

Ok so I would assume with no factory cdrom it most likely is a mini.... Without knowing what model you have I can not tell u how to reformat with the backup the factory placed on there. If you have the factory restore cd then u can buy or borrow and external cdrom and load it that way.

Ok i was tryin to reboot my laptop but now all im getting is bootmgr is missing i dont know what to do can some one help me with this please

You can try to Repair your Windows using the Windows installation CD (for Repair choose R when prompted). You can let the automatic repair to try and fix it, if that doesn't work upon restart reboot and start the Repair again, but this time select Command Prompt or Console and put in "bootrec /rebuildbcd" without the quotes. If you don't have Windows installation CD you can try downloading Hiren's Boot CD and try to fix the bootmgr with the utilities from the disc: http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

do not worry at all. take out the cd and reboot in safe mode by pressing F8 at bootup. Then you can restore your laptop to an earlier date from Start->All progs->Accessories->System->restore. reboot normal this time.

Is there any way to reboot toshiba satellie a55-s106 without cd?

You can buy a flash drive and load the cd onto it using another computer, if this is a option in your bios, then this will work.

In your bios, it is called Removable Media, start your computer and press F10 (or another key depending on your system setup), go to the boot sequence tab and move "media" to the top. save and exit. Restart and enjoy!

I need to reboot my toshiba equium l10-300 laptop with no cd

Try starting in safe mode. Hold down oth the control and F8 kays and press power. Do not release Contro & F8 until it starts to beep. Then it shoud start in safe mode. If the computer will not start in safe mode you have a hardware problem. If it starts in safe mode, you have a Windows problem that re-installing Windows will solve that (to a point). Without the Original CD and install code, you have two options. Buy a new OS or.......pirate it. I do not recommend the last.
