This is a sign of a resource conflict on your computer, there is no actual issue ont he card or the computer, only a conflict or an incompatibility, the only way to get around this issue is to reinstall the card in another PCI slot in your computer or have the adapter replaced with another version or perhaps an wireless USB adapter of the same brand, like the WUSB54GS.

hope this helps, if you have other questions just let me know.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I have a desktop running windows 7. I got it installed but the wireless connection is disabled, i can't enable it.

Hello

What kind of antivirus do you have on your computer??
If you have Kaspersky then it may be disabling the wireless connection.
Try this.

Go to the network conections. Right click the wireless connection and click properties. Under " this connection uses the ff...." you will see Kaspersky there, uncheck the Kaspersky option then click apply or ok. just restart your computer and then you will then be able to go online wirelessly.
