Hello,

All Magimix processors I have seen have not had release buttons to release the bowl/lid. It may be worthwhile you contacting Magimix themselves to see if they can help you.

I am seeking a replacement carrier for a Braun Multipractic Type 4259 food processor

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

My model CFP20 bowl for Black and Decker Short Cut Food Processor is cracked. Where can I get a replacement?

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, and a list of Dealers for spare parts, as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Silver cardboard like material burned/broke is this part required

Yes, it's your waveguide cover and it will need to be replaced.

It provides the magnetron with very important protection from grease and food particles.

If the metal behind it is charred or burned, it should be cleaned with a mild, non-ammonia cleaner.

The metal edges of the oven behind it can be sharp, so be careful!

You can contact Oster via the information in your owner's manual.

If for some reason you don't have your owner's manual, I would suggest calling the dealer where you bought it to see if they have a number for Oster.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
