Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Please could you provide simple instructions for installing a Logitech Optical mouse ?

If you are on Linux, the mouse should be recognized automatically, and the driver should already be installed. The same goes generally for Mac OSX.

For Windows, try downloading the appropriate mouse driver from the Logitech website (www.logitech.com)

Can you install a cordless mouse to any computer?

Hi most cordless mouse or keyboard use a usb adaptor you plug this into a usb port on your computer then press a button usually on the bottom of the mouse and then this connects it with your computer, if you buy them new you should get a installation cd with it and just run this in your computer and you should then have no problems

so to answer your question yes any wireless mouse or keyboard will work with any computer as long as your usb ports are working,

you should have no problems as long as you follow the installation instructions that come with the mouse, follow those and you will be up and running in no time, just remember you need to change the batteries every 6 to 12 months to ensure it keeps working at its best.

let me know if you need further assistance ok

plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks

I PURCHASED THIS WIRELESS MOUSE TODAY, BUT MOUSE DOES NOT WORK. I FOLLOWED THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION STEPS IN THE INSTALLATION GUIDE INCLUDED WITH THE DEVICE.

Return it. You might want to try a different brand. Or a wired mouse.

Me personally, I always go for the wired stuff.

Much more reliable and less irritating.

Logitech V220 Mouse stopped working

Hi,

First of all, make sure you test the new mouse in a different USB-port then the old one, this can sometimes force windows to "reinitialize" communications with the mouse.

If this does not work try something of the following:

If you have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:

1)Remove it. *
2)Install it again

If you don't have the Logitech SetPoint software installed:
1)Install it.

Cordless Mouse & Keyboard install I need help

if you have a disc for the new items ,install first, shut down pc, then take the old mouse & keyboard off connect the new wireless ones before rebooting
you may need to sync the mouse & keyboard by holding in the small little button on each item and the reciever unit untill the lights come on indicating it is recieving the signals from both mouse & keyboard.if this does not work put the old mouse back in reboot then go into control panel / mouse, and sellect wireless mouse ,turn off the pc plug the new mouse back in then boot up

good luck

Logitech black cordless mouse not working. new batteries.

In order for anyone to help you additional information will be required. Such as has this mouse ever worked ON THE COMPUTER before or is this a new install. What is the model number of the mouse? What operating system and computer are you attempting to use this mouse with? Do you have the Install ation instructions and did you follow them? Did anything go wrong during the install? Did you install special software? Was there another device to install such as a USB device to receive the mouse's signals? Anyone here is a team player with you to resolve the problems -- you have the eyes and the hands that can manipulate devices the people like me do not. Our ability to assist is limited to how effectively you can describe the situation so we can "see" in your words what you see with your eyes and we can understand what you know again through your words alone. Unfortunately few of us have working crystal balls to determine information you cannot at least lead us toward.
