Question about Kodak EASYSHARE 5100 All-In-One Printer
I see that I am not the only one with problems with this model. I am so disappointed and I really need a printer as I am published and need copies of my documents.
KODAK sent me a new printhead and color/black cartridges, they worked for just a little while. What is a person to do? They will not refund and I am not sure another printhead/ink replacement will fix the problem.
Call kodak tech support; the # appears at the of the troubleshooting help file
kodak shipped, 2days, a new printhead and photo paper and the black and color ink. aka printhead kit...no charge i was impressed with their service and support.
this problem is a known problem. i have had several users with the same problem.
call kodak, they are doing a great job.

I would contact them again and state that it was only a temp fix for your issue as it has happened again and ask if a possible unit exchange or replacement can be done. (I know other printer companys that offer this)
They might offer you new printhead and carts again if they do no reason not to take them ushally they are free anyways (customer satisfaction)
And I would start looking around for another printer that would have a bit better of a rating and able to handle a work load as I know people that use their printers more then anything and others that only use them once a year so you might end up having to spend a few more bucks on a decent printer but in the end it will pay off. The best customer service I would have to say would come from Hewitt Packard. HP ok so I use to work in the AIO Department for tech support so I know the ins and outs.
