Most cameras have the model number displayed on the front or top of the camera. Also if you need the serial number for some reason, it should be on a grey sticker on the bottom of the camera.

Does anyone know what usb cord the sanyo VcP-S885 uses

If you mean the Sanyo VPC-S885 digital camera, that is a USB 2.0 A to USB mini-B 5 pin cable. Amazon has several replacement cables; one of which is here: https://www.amazon.com/Antoble-VPC-S885-VPC-S885p-VPC-CA200-Camera/dp/B01EV5KN7E .

I hope this helps.

I think I have an internal memory problem. I can not take more than 2 pics with my sanyo vcp s1275, even after clearing the memory

My first impression is, this is a 12 meg camera and the picture file size will be pretty darn big and has maxed out your internal memory space. There are several settings on the camera for picture quality and I'm going to assume it's set for the finest. If you reduce this to "S" you will get a considerable amount more pictures but, the pictures will only be good for internet use maybe not printing

Black screen

Try removing the battery and putting it back in again. This happens to mine. Also make sure that the SD card is fast enough. I.e. a 40x SD or more card or a class 6 SDHC card.
