Where do I connect the speakers to the monitor. I have a Flatron L1922P monitor. I ordered 2.0 USB Multimedia speakers that come with a 3.5mm stereo plug and USB plug. I must not being doing something...

Your speakers do not plug into your monitor. Your speakers should be connected to a USB slot on your PC tower and the 3.5mm stereo plug should be put into the green stereo jack on your PC tower. If your audio jacks on your PC are not colour coded, then you should look for the jack which has a picture of a set of earphones over them.
Depending on your speakers, you may or may not be required to keep the stereo plug connected in order to get sound. Some models transmit model over the USB connection and others just use the USB connection as a way to supply power to the speakers and need the stereo plug to be connected in order to have sound. I suggest trying both.

I have harman kardon speakers and I cannot figure how to connect with my computers, both desk top or laptop. There are two speakers with a cable with a light green plub and another plug that has me...

The green plug needs to be plugged in into either a green jack at the back of your computer or into your laptops earphone jack. And if the second cord is a USB cord then plug it into a USB port. If it is a power cord then plug it into a wall socket.

I installed my new speakers but can't get any sound. I have tried all usb ports and still no sound. What have I done wrong? I am not very good with PC problems.

Hi , your Speakers do not connect Via USB , They connect via a Green Input Jack on the PC...Try find that input aswell as the Green Color coded Cable from your Speakers and plug that in..
You should have perfect sound then..
Happy new year Bud ;)

I have lost? diagram and am having trouble connecting up all plugs etc in the back. The main prob is the microphone, cant find a lead for it so i must have something in the wrong place, as noone can hear...

microphone goes in to green plug with i believe 2.5 jack. Purple is for keyboard if you use PS2 connection and green for mouse same with PS2. usb can be plugged in to any of the usb slots.network cable goes in the one that looks like telephone jack but slitely bigger.

Try the BLUE jack, then the GREEN jack. You won't hurt anything if you guess wrong. BTW, are the sub and speakers powered up? Pilot light showing they're on? Some speakers are powered by a USB port - any loose USB cables laying around?

Unable to connect speakers to desktop

The monitor has integrated speakers. This means that there should be a headphone jack at the front or side of the monitor. You can plug your (amplified!) speakers into this jack, and it will bypass your monitor speakers.
