I'm needing a fuse diagram for my 1997 Ford Econoline club wagon. The interior lights aren't turning on when open the door. Lights use to come on when I first got the van, but now they don't.

When you open any door ? Driver ,passanger etc... You would need to look at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved in making the light's come on . Has an electronic illuminated entry module that controls the light's . Use's RH & LH door handle switches as inputs to the module . Has two fuse's in the instrument panel fuse box #4 a 15amp fuse & # 24 a 5 amp fuse . Probably not a fuse problem . module maybe . Free wiring diagrams here Enter vehicle info. Year , make , model an engine size. Under system click on lighting , then under subsystem click on illuminated entry . Click the search button ,then the blue link .
The system is activated by raising the door handle (22404).
This action momentarily closes a switch mounted on the front door latch, which completes the ground circuit of the electronic module and switches the system on. The vehicle interior lamps turn on, remain on for approximately 25 seconds, then automatically turn off. During this 25 second period, the system can be manually deactivated by turning the ignition switch (11572) to either RUN or ACC position.
The system will be activated every time the door handles are operated. Opening the interior lamp switch from the inside of the vehicle will not activate the system.
If the door handle is held up indefinitely so that the interior lamp switch is continuously closed, the system will operate as normal and turn off after 25 seconds. At the completion of this cycle, if the door handle is still in the raised position, the system will remain off, and it will be impossible to activate the system from the other door handle until the raised door handle is returned to its normal position. This function is built into the logic circuitry of the system to prevent battery discharge, should the door handle be intentionally propped up or become jammed in any way.

2009g6 dome light comes on all by its self why

The dome lamp switch has 3 positions: DOOR, OFF, and ON. When in the DOOR position, the dome lamp operation is controlled by the body control module (BCM).The ON position provides a ground for continuous operation. Ground is provided at G302. The OFF position turns OFF any dome lamp operation. The courtesy lamps, may be manually turned ON by placing the instrument panel (I/P) dimmer switch in the DOME position. When the dome lamp switch is in the DOOR position, the dome lamp will illuminate when a door is opened. When a door is opened, the courtesy lamps turn ON. After all the doors have been closed, the courtesy lamps will remain illuminated approximately 10 seconds after the last door closes. When the driver places the dome lamp switch in the OFF position, the dome lamp will be disabled.

Do you hear any chimes when the light comes on ? Door ajar switch problem , maybe . Picture of car with door open light lit on the instrument cluster ? When does it come on , when driving or sitting still or both ?

You mite want to take it to a qualified repair shop and have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes .
DTC B2555 05: Passenger Compartment Lamp Control Circuit Short to Battery or Open
The body control module (BCM) applies battery voltage to the courtesy lamps through the courtesy lamps high control circuit. When any door is opened, the door ajar switch contacts close and the BCM receives a door-open input. If the BCM receives a door lock or unlock input or a rear hatch open input, the BCM will activate the courtesy lamp high control circuit, providing battery voltage to all of the dome lamps, reading lamps, rear compartment lamp, and vanity mirror lamps. In the event that any of these lamps were to remain illuminated for more than 20 minutes with the ignition switch in the OFF position, the BCM will deactivate the courtesy lamp high control circuit to prevent a total battery discharge condition.

Do you know how to do basic automotive electrical testing ? How to test inputs and outputs of a control module ? in this case the BCM - body control module ? Find wiring diagrams at also watch this video ECM Inputs and Outputs Diagnosis

Garage door will not open & the little green light is not coming on - Model 139.53982SRT

Ok basic trouble shooting. Is it plugged in? by that I mean have you checked to see if it has power both in the garage and at the circuit box. Have you checked for tripped breakers.

If power is fine try to dirupt power to force a reset if there was an error code that was preventing the operation that may fix it. Finally is the door off track or bound so that the unit cannot open it.

Power and light turn on, but does not rotate or heat

Occasionally, the larger hard-mounted microwave ovens may become slightly "tweaked" after mounting and will not allow the door switch to activate upon closing, thereby preventing normal operation (sometimes this may occur after many months of normal operation). A symptom of this condition is that the oven light will remain on after the door is closed. It is a simple check to make which can often be corrected by adjusting the mounting screws.

Red service light is on,yet still is operable with intermittent beeping?

The only information I can find.

RED LED: An error has been detected and the BBU will automatically shut off. The BBU will attempt to restart by reconnecting to the batteries. If the error is still present it will shut itself off again. This process will repeat every 5 minutes or until the error has been resolved. This is used to prevent further draining of the batteries. If a red LED remains on when the power is restored, and is accompanied by a beep sounding every 30 seconds, please call for service.

I want to know what a lever in a fire place is

The lever at the top of the fireplace operates the "damper". The damper is a door that opens the fireplace to the outside via the chimney.

The damper must remain open whenever a fire is burning in the fireplace to allow smoke to escape out the chimney instead of filling the fireplace and eventually, the room. The damper should be opened prior to starting a fire, otherwise the handle will be too hot to handle. Once the fire has gone completely out, the damper should be closed to prevent heat from being drawn out of the room / home. You can easily check is your damper is open or closed by simply looking up the chimney. If dark, it is closed. If light(er) it is open. Do not operate the damper while looking up - as dirt, soot, rust, etc. can fall when doing so.

The damper also prevents pests from enter the room / home. It is not uncommon for birds, bats squirrels, etc. from creating a home / getting caught in side the chimney.

I hope this helps - good luck!

Window returns to high position, preventing door closing properly

I have a 02 Carrera and had the problem of the window remaining too high and preventing closing. i took the car to the dealer and they did something with the door handle mechanism, like unscrewing it and putting it back in place, which fixed the problem, no charge i think. i also had a bad starter switch and light switch on the front panel. when these were changed, my car now starts well and all lights work in the instrument cluster, which was a problem before.

AEG Lavamat 74800: Door doesn't open, i.e. opens with long delay

Following next link:
How washing machine door lock works how to test interlocks
Replace door lock.

untitled2-rq2y3fnvghvfrpvxa33jafnd-1-0.jpg When the washing programme is started by pressing the START/PAUSE button, the bi-metal PTC (contacts 3-5) is powered by the triac on the PCB (J6-2 connector): after 2 - 4 seconds, this closes the switch (5-4) which powers the electrical components of the appliance (only if the door is closed).
The door interlock prevents aperture of the door while the appliance is in operation.
At the end of the washing programme, the PCB disconnects the interlock from the power supply, but the door remains locked for 1 to 2 minutes (PTC cooling time).
Certain models feature a pilot lamp which lights to indicate that the door is locked. This pilot lamp switches off when the door can be opened.
