SOURCE: Same problem with unlocked atnt blackberry bold

If you saved the phone number to your contacts list from your call log, it will automatically save with a '+' in front of the number. For example, I call you, you don't know my number, but after we talk, you save my number to your contacts list from your "received calls". This is the only time I have ever had it save this way. I go in and Edit the contact's phone number to delete the '+'. Hope this works for you like it did for me!

SOURCE: I can't make calls directly

Hi , I think to make local calls you will have to add +91+ mobile no eg: 91XXXXXXXXXX in front of the mobile no. In order to make a call to land line you will have to add the city code + land line no . eg: If you want to call Hyderabad , the no will be like 040XXXXXXXX . To make a call to mobile no in other city add 0 in front of the mobile no eg : 0XXXXXXXXXX .

SOURCE: bought a blackberry 8220 flip

The best way to unlock your Blackberry is to buy unlock codes from a trusted vendor.
Search internet for mobile phone unlocking websites. You will come across a thousand websites who can do this. Choose which ever you like. Do look for price comparisons and the unlocking instructions.
Recheck the Model number- Network to which your phone is locked to and the IMEI number before placing an order. If you made any mistakes in these details these people will never give you a refund!!
One more thing, before placing an order ask them about the conditions for getting a full refund in the case of a code failure! Think and make a wise decision. I have personally bought the code for my Blackberry Storm from It is because they have good reviews on most of the mobile phone forums. I got my phone unlocked successfully from that website. I think their codes don't fail. The web link for the above mentioned web site is

I ve forgotten the security code.

There are two ways of unlocking it.

1. Type *#7370# and press, this will restore your phone to factory settings and reset your phone lock code to 12345, but be sure to back up your contacts and calender entries as it will remove all your phone memory contacts, calender entries and all other personalized settings.

2. Go to the following website and enter your phone' IMEI number and a new lock code will be generated, use that code for unlocking your phone. Type *#06# on your mobile to know your IMEI number.

Hope it works for you.

Thanks !!

I need an unlocking code for an apple iphone connected to orange. i dont have an orange sim card either.

IPhone's don't have unlock codes. You need unlock software, it's free so never pay for it.

If your iPhone has firmware version 3.1.3 you can't unlock it yet. If it's lower version follow the iclarified website

Forgot how to add new phone numbers and names to my phone

Creating Phonebook Entries To store names and numbers in your Phonebook, please follow these steps: When the phone is in standby mode, press [phonebook icon] (on the left side of the four-way key). To create a new phonebook entry, press the NEW soft key. Edit Name appears. Enter the name for this entry (Edit Name). Use the keypad to enter a name for this entry; the name can contain up to 1 6 characters. (See page 1 1 for instructions on entering text.) If you do not want to enter a name for this entry, your phone will store this entry as No Name. Press the OK soft key when you are finished. Enter the number for this entry (Edit Number 1). Once you have stored a name, EDIT NUMBER1 appears next. Use the number keypad, [right] or [left] on the four-way function key, or the DELETE soft key to enter the phone number 1 ; the phone number can contain up to 32 digits. If you need the phone to pause between digits when it’s dialing (for example, to enter an extension or an access code), press [redial/pause] to insert a two-second pause. You will see a P in the display. You can also use more than one pause together if two seconds is not long enough. Each pause counts as one digit. Press the OK soft key when you are finished. EDIT NUMBER 2 appears next. Use the same procedure when entering the phone number 1 to enter the phone number 2. Press the OK soft key when you are finished. Assign a personal ring tone for this entry (Personal Ring). You can attach a personalized ring tone to each phonebook entry; the phone will use this ring tone when this person calls. Move the cursor to highlight one of the 20 different ring tone options. As you highlight each ring tone, you will hear a sample of that tone. When you hear the ring tone you want to use, press the OK soft key. If you do not want to use a personal ring tone for this phonebook entry, select the NO SELECTION option, and the phone will use your standard ring tone setting. Assign this entry to a Speed Dial number (Speed Dial). Your phone has 1 0 speed dial numbers, 0 to 9. Move the cursor to select the speed dial number you want to assign to this phonebook entry, and press the OK soft key. Select NO SELECTION if you do not want to assign this entry to a speed dial number. Press the OK soft key. You will hear a tone confirming that the new phonebook entry has been stored, and DONE! appears in the display. Note: When the shared memory is full, the oldest Caller ID message is overwritten.

What is a dial out code?

A dial-out code is a number that is automatically added when you dial a number. It can be either your area code or (usually) your country code.
Let's say the number stored in your phone is (123) 456-7899. So if your dial-out code is set to "+1", then the number dialed is +1-123-456-7899. This ensures that, wherever you are on this planet, you will always reach that number in the US.

On home phones you can sometimes set a dial-out code (like "123"), and if you dial 456-7899, then it automatically adds your area code to the number.

What sometimes happens is, let's say you bought your phone in the US, but you live in another country, your phone still automatically adds a "+1" to all your numbers stored in your phone unless specified otherwise. That's why you have to set the dial-out code to your specific region.

My phone when I press for automatic dialing it adds a 1 in front of the number and the call wont get completed but if i dialed the number manually it wont add the 1 and the call gets completed. Balckberry...

When you do your automatic dialing, does the number include the area code? ie. mine is 937 (937-xxx-xxxx)
If you don't have the area code put in with the rest of the number, that may be your problem. 1 is the country code for USA, so normally when you see a number that says +11234567890, its country code, area code, phone number.
+1(country)123(area code)4567890(phone number)
So anyway, the only thing I can think of is to put the area code in the phone numbers in your address book if they are not already there. Other than that, I dont know.
