Hi my name sean, are the temperatures normal? If they arent then its trying to compensate, if they are then you might have a thermostat problem.

Is everything staying cold and machine is running normal other than running all the time?if so remove the bottom kick plate and clean the condenser coil off,if this is loaded with lint it will cause the machine to run longer because the lint is holding the heat in,this is how the machine cools down along with the condenser can pull out the machine and remove the bottom panel in the rear also and clean that out, make sure the fan is running then unplug it and clean it,i use a shop vac and a brush to do this, vac as much as you can then stick the brush through the coil holes and pull out as much lint as you can, then i stick the vac on blow and blow through the coil with short blasts so the dust and lint doesn't fly should do this once every 6 to 12 months.this will make a big differance on how the machine runs.

Problem, fridge over a period of a few weeks or less goes from really cold to not so cold with ice buildup on the ceiling of the fridge section beneath the freezer compartment which itself does not ke

Hi, This will happen if you have a faulty defrost timer or the the heater is not working when it goes into defrost. The reason its not so cold after a week or so because the ice builds up & doesnt run efficently which is why when you switch it off & defrost it works great.

My sub zero service light and EC 24 are flashing, fridge is getting warmer...suggestions?

The ec 24 alarm is from a sensor that is located behind the freezer wall and connects to the control board in the ref. When the temp gets to a certain point the sensor will trip giving the alarm. If the temperature in the freezer is gone up but is around the 20 -30 degree F range, I would remove the grate that covers the compressor and check to see if the fan is running and if the coils are dirty. Either one of those can cause temps to go up. If the fan is running and the coils are clean, Call a service company because you possibly have a sealed system issue

My samsung refrigerator goes off everytime the electricity flickers, even for a flash or less than a second. It goes off and it does not comebacks on for as much as 24 hrs. Sansumg's technitions says...

The fridge can cut off if there is a power flickering or variation as the relay will be energised to trip off. Once the fridge is off the self timer - 5 minutes- will be active to allow the gas/oil to come back to the compressor as the flickering would have produced an irregular pumping.
After about 5 minutes the processor will energise the relay to contact and start.
Now the main issue is the voltage in your household. if the voltage is low then the fridge will not start again as it will click and shut off. So make sure that there is sufficient voltage in the mains supply. Also the plug point where the fridge is connected must deliver good voltage/current as the wiring must be good to carry the load . If not the fridge will trip off whenever there is a power flicker.
Finall if the power is good then the fridge mut be checked as it cannot be off for 24 hours. register you complaint for warranty service.
If power is irregular use an auto- voltage stabiliser .

Kenmore elite model#5059903 the divider between the freezer and fridge gets extremely hot.

Refridgerators have coils than run thru then body of the fridge. They are there to reduce moisture and condensation. It is normal for tham to get warm and sometimes they do get hot it happens when the coil is too close to the body. Normally it only happens periodically. If it is so hot it burns or if it stays hot and dont stop than you have two options. #1 move contents of fridge to another location (back up fridge) and unplug for 24 hrs leave doors slightly open and have some towels near bottom there will be a little bit of water. Plug back in if this does not work. Contact the manufacturer and let them know. There may be a defect in the design.

Freezer door was accidentally left open for about one hour. Now the refrigerator and freezer are not cooling.

If the freezer or fridge door remains open for one hour or few more hours by mistake, then to again get to its proper cooling cycle, it requires approx another 24 hours. And in that also, dont open the refrigerators doors for few hours. If you open, close it quickly.Once it cooling cycle again gets set, then you can use it like you use regularly. But approx it takes 24 hours to get proper cooling.-------- ------------------ But if its already more then 24 hours and there is very low cooling, then it can be internal defrost cycle issue. You will have to do manual reset procedure. The manual reset procedure is as follows:-------- First unplug the unit from main power outlet. Then empty whole unit completely. Then keep both the doors open. Wait for 24 hours. All the ice collected on the coils and in the freezer section will get melted. Clean the water from the sections. Then Connect the power cord of the unit to main power outlet after 24 hours/.Then set the temperature to normal in both fridge and freezer section. It will take near to 4 hours to get run in its proper cooling cycle. Then check,it will get set to its cooling cycle and work as normal.------------- This should help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Fridge cooling 54 degrees - freezer 38 degrees and 24 degrees

Will not be the defrost timer as they have a set cycle independant of the normal cycle...unless your fridge is eletronic. Did you stand the fridge up when shifting?
