If the wetting occurred recently, the iPod will need to be dried out. One simple solution is to leave it in a bag of rice over night. The rice with absorb the moisture and your iPod should be fine to use. This is not a 100% foolproof method, however, and if it doesn't work your iPod may be irreperably damaged. If it is still under warranty, contact Apple for a replacement. If not, you may have to buy a new one.

Wet IPod touch docking station

Turn your iPod off as quickly as possible after it becomes wet. The longer your device is on after it gets wet, the more likely it is to suffer severe or irreparable damage. Do not turn it on to see if it works; running power through the device can cause more damage.

Got wet and it works but no back light - the screen is really dark

Simply its wet and damaged and your lucky its working. You can try leaving it over night in a bowl of rice just drowned in the rice. Dont add water or anything else just rice. The rice works as an absorbant and it may remove that extra water that hasnt been able to try because it is inside the ipod.

I got some water in my ipod!what can i do?

Leave the ipod in direct sunlight for 10 minutes (you should cover it with a cloth if you like) then try restarting it. It will be fine. You can also use a hair dryer to get the water/moisture out.

I got it wet, dried it out, it has been working on my station but now it dont, when i plug it in to charger there is a PICTURE OFA BATTERY FLASHING BUT NOTHING ELSE COMES UP ON THE SCREEN

This might sound a bit silly, but take a bowl, fill it with rice, and put the ipod in it for the night. Rice absorbs moisture, which would make sure the iPod is drier on the inside. Then you can try recharging it, don't forget to give it at least 10 minutes before trying to turn it on cause it sounds like the battery is completely empty.

Im sorry to tell you, your ipod is dead.

Theres noting you can do. Contact the shop where you bought it maybe you have warranty? Not sure if they cover this.

In any case the hardware needs repairing / replaceing.
