Re: Ryobi BTS21 Table Saw The saw was quick-stopped by jammed material and now makes a rubbing noise when turned by hand. I see nothing externally and want to remove the motor and arbor for examination. How do I remove the motor and arbor? Is a repair manual available?

I would first unplug the tool and then remove the throat plate and inspect inside where the blade resides for your problem. There is a possibility that something is still jammed in there. Let me know if this is not the case and I will try and locate the breakdown. There is no repair manual for these tools. Dave

Ryobi mitre saw jamming when cutting

There's a normal adjustment process of squaring the blade to the table, page 19 of your manual. If the blade is not square to the table then it will bind. Here's the link for the manual, see page 19.

Check nameplate on motor for amp draw, and then check that against your breaker and wire size.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Color-codewire2.html

If table saw worked on the breakers before and suddenly stopped working, then see if you can lubricate motor bearings >> look for oil cap on each end of motor and use 3-in-1 oil.
Clean the saw and make sure there's nothing rubbing against drive belt and that saw blade rolls easily when saw is turned off.
