Deleting songs

connect your MP3 player to the computer with a USB cord. click My Computer you should see RCA Lyra. Next,
go into windows and open up a folder --- any folder will do (you can use one on your desktop if you like) once the folder opens, please click the little arrow around the top of the folder. you should see it say :
Desktop,
My Documents,
My computer
c:\
(and which ever drives you have on your pc) please look for one called:
RCA_LYRA.

once you see that one, please click on it.
then, what you will see in your folder is all of the music you have inside your mp3 player. even those disturbing audio files that they put into our players.

To delete those files, and any mp3 songs, highlight them, and press delete. then press ok and there you are. if you would like to move the songs to your computer, just highlight them and drag them onto your desktop, or another folder, or where ever yopu would like to put them.

once your done, just unplug and there you go (oh! you can also add files to your player this way. just add them into the folder with your mp3 pluged in).
altight, hope that helps. i hope you all have a nice day and take care. cheers..."

Deleted files...

All you have to do is right click and "undo delete" Unless you already disconnected the MP3 player and/or restarted the computer. If your critical files were deleted (like the ones that run the player) then go to http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=NWE505 and select your operating system and it will install them

Help

You need to attach it to your computer to unlock it. Your local computer store might sell Ipod USB cables.

Connect the iPod and go to 'my computer';
-open the iPod by right clicking on the iPod icon;
-on the toolbar menu click on 'Tools'
-select folder options>view>& check the box that says "show hidden files & folders"
-then click 'ok'

You will see a ghost folder called 'iPod control'. Open this folder to access the other folders & files contained within it.
Delete the file called "Itunes_lock"

Hai

Insignia mp3 players normally use the generic mass storage driver in almost any computer. When you plug in the USB cord, two extra drive letters will show up in Windows Explorer. Songs go into the Music folder. For neatness: Make new folder for each artist and under each artist, make a new folder for each album.
Also slight chance the USB mode got off of Automatic in the player's options.

Getting started

Ok, there should be a cable with which you connect your iPod, iTunes should recognize it and you should be able to transfer music.

Otherwise try going My Computer, find your iPod folder , open it, open your desired folder and drag songs from the folder that your iTunes music is in into you iPod folder
