Question about LG Televison & Video
Most HDTVs today have a 15-pin VGA input so to hookup a PC, just connect a VGA monitor cable from the PC monitor output to the HDTV VGA input port. This gives you video. For audio, you can connect a stereo audio cable (3.5mm) from the PC soundcard speaker jack (usually green) to the HDTVs audio input port next to the VGA port. Next you need to adjust the settings for video resolution and refresh rate on the PC so that the HDTV is compatible. Look in the HDTVs owner's manual for a chart showing the acceptable video screen resolutions (1024 X 768) and refresh rates and adjust the PC accordingly. You should now have video and audio on the TV. For a laptop, it depends on what outputs it has, VGA, HDMI or S-Video but this can be done as well.
