Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV

1 Answer

Unable to receive input device signal

I recently replaced the lamp of Mitsubishi WD-52525. It worked well for several weeks. And, one day, it suddenly failed to display any picture from the input device, including DVD, Wii, VCR.... Signals from the antenna did not function normally either. There was a fuzzy, greenish band flashing horizontally in the middle of the screen.

Could anyone suggest a solution? Thank you.

Can you post a picture of the screen so I can properly diagnose it. It sounds like the caps on the FMT PWB but a picture would help me be certain.

Blinking Green Light on Mitsubishi DLP 52525

The 52525 is definitely going to either:

1. have the caps on the FMT/DM board replaced (not something I'd recommend you do yourself)

2. have the electrical chassis rebuilt (as sometimes, you can replace the caps and still have the problem).

wait time: 4-8 weeks
cost to rebuild: $400-$500
cost for labor: $200-$400
