When formatting a card for a camera, it's important to make sure to format using the menu settings on the camera itself and not from a computer. This guarantees that the card will be the exact format that the camera requires in order to record images and videos.
In the Home Menu of the camera, navigate to "Manage Media" and select "Media Format". Choose "HDD", and this will properly format the internal hard drive of the camera.

I formatted like disk drive my sony camcorder dcrsr65e via computer .now when i try to capture a video it shows format error.please tell what should i do.i need the camcorder urgently.

The computer format does not setup the drive properly. You must format the camera's HDD using the menu system of the camera. After you have the CAMERA do the format, then it will work.
