The batteries can be rebuilt (not cheaply though) by contacting: www.primecell.com for details. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Delphi SkyFi3 Battery WIll Not Hold Charge

You can buy a whole radio for as little as $30. I would even call XM and tell them you're going to cancel because your radio died, and they might sell you one if you guarantee to stay with them for a year?

SOURCE: I am using a powerbase

Refer to the picture shown in the link below--- http://mydeco.com/p/powerbase-xtreme-cordless-hammer-drill-kit-18v/GB000024EPS6TLCLTKLEGSM4VU6S7ICXK7PGDYPU/
The very left-hand end of the drill is the drill chuck. There are three "jaws" protruding from the left-most end. To open the jaws grasp the large black collar with one hand and the the smaller silver collar just behind it with the other hand. Twist these two collars in opposite directions. You have to twist pretty hard. If they won't move, then try the other direction. Once they start to move they will move easily and you will see that the the three jaws begin to separate. Keep going until the jaws have separated enough to insert the wood drill bit, insert the bit, then tighten - good and tight! Good luck.

I have a Skil Model 2363 drill. Used it about 3 times. Put it in the charger and it won't charge. I have it for about 1-1/2 years. Skil says I have to buy a new one. That the battery is no longer made....

Sometimes places like Batteries + and the Battery Barn (on line web sites) will have replacement batteries for popular models even after the manufactures quit producing them. That is where I found batteries for my Bosch drill.

Coleman 18v drill CTP 8129 number 9408 label underside drill. Probably 30 hours total usage over 2 years. Appeared not to hold charge after 18 months - had to recharge before every use on a 1 week...

These batteries never last very long. That model of drill is no longer made but I did find some refurbished batteries on EBAY. However, with EBAY you get what you get. Personally, I would never buy a refurbished battery and besides, they are way overpriced for a refurb. Sorry my friend but you would be better off just buying a name brand drill with Ni-cAD batteries (18V or 24V are the most common). I have a 24V DeWalt that I love and replacement batteries are cheap.

I charge my batteries but when I use them they go dead very fast

Your batteries no longer hold charge as deeply as they once were capable. Typical symptom of rechargeable batteries. You need to replace them.

Try www.batteryplanet.com and www.batteries.com. If neither one of these has what you're looking for, google cordless drill batteries and chargers and pick from there.

Won't charge fully

If your warranty has expired, you're best off buying a new drill. Replacing batteries will quickly add up to the cost of a new drill.

I know they cost a lot more, but, if you want something that will last a lot longer, look at a Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, Bosch, Hitachi for your replacement. Milwaukee actually guarantees their LiIon batteries will last 1,000 charges or longer.

The charging light flashes alternately in green and red color, charging is not possible.

You have defective batteries. Either they are old and used and can no longer take a charge and should be replaced, or they have a problem not allowing them to be charged.

If batteries are new, seek replacements. If old, time to buy new batteries.

If this happens with several batteries, and even new ones, your charger my be faulty.

12 volt re-chargeable battery won't hold charge

Yepp, you can replace it..BUT...its more expensiv to buy a new battery then it is to buy a new hand drill...almost.
If you want to replace it i sugest you go to the store where you bought your hand drill and buy one there.

Good luck to you
