SOURCE: coleman salt lake tent 9 man no instructions please help?

the instructions are useless anyway. you put the red poles through the 2 side bedrooms. the black rods and the black poles with the bends in join together and go diagonally through the middle of the tent. the yellow rods join together with the black poles with the yellow tape round the ends and u fit these from the inside of the front and back entrance then when the tent is up you just hook the bedrooms in. hope this was usefull

SOURCE: I need pitching instructions for

Jim,

these are the instructions I devised as I had no instructions either...

Great Outdoors Executive 320 tent

Two rooms plus a fully enclosable veranda.

(4.9m long x 4.3m wide x 2.4m high)

Main Tent Assembly :

Lay the tent out on the ground (making allowance for the slope of the ground, prevailing wind, general access, etc).

Peg down the main corners and centres of each wall, keeping the tent square and evenly tensioned. Peg down remaining loops.

Assemble two sets of side support poles. These have been numbered (from the front, looking towards the tent (ie, facing the veranda)) :

Left-hand side : L1, L2, L3, L4 & L5 (corresponding to poles 1, 24, 3, 4 & 1).

Add front & rear supports LF1 & LF2 and LB1 & LB2 (ie, 2 sets of poles 5 & 9).

Right-hand side : R1, R2, R3, R4 & R5 (corresponding to poles 1, 24, 3, 4 & 1).

Add front & rear supports RF1 & RF2 and RB1 & RB2 (ie, 2 sets of poles 5 & 9).

Place poles in the loops along the sides ensuring that the 4 brown loops (at each end of the sides) are looped behind the projecting studs (this ensures the sides don't slide into the centres.

Lift & tension one side, then the other.

Assemble the centre poles (numbered C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 & C7 (corresponding to poles 12, 13, 8A, 24, 3, 4 & 8)).

Slide the centre poles through the centre of the tent. Use poles 14A & 15 to hold up the rear of the tent, poles 14A & A in the centre, & two further sets of 14A & 15, one set at the front of the tent & one set for the veranda. Tension by expanding the poles.

Assemble poles A, BE, C2, BE & A through the centre of the tent, clip onto ridge poles & tension. (Note : poles A should be inserted from the outside, through the elasticised holes before being inserted into poles BE).

Attach a guy rope to the rear of the tent (top of centre pole 15) & tension.

Veranda Assembly :

Assemble 4 sets of poles (10 & 30) & place in corners & centres of the veranda. Attach guy ropes & tension. Attach veranda walls (using Velcro strips).

Porch Assembly :

Select which side is to be an entrance. Unzip the window covering & use two poles (10 & 30) to lift it. Tension with 2 guy ropes on each pole.

hope the above helps.

HOW DO I PUT UP A TENT

Don't panic if you've never pitched a tent before. It seems scary when you first get started but with a bit of practice you will be doing it within minutes.
The most important thing is to practice putting it up before you go on your camping trip. There's nothing worse than the sun setting and no light left around you as you struggle to pitch your tent.
Here are my tips to help you get started: Make sure the area where you want to put your tent is clear, without any rocks or big bumps underneath, otherwise you won't be comfortable.
Don't pitch your tent on a low lying ground. If it rains - your tent site will be flooded.
To protect your tent you should lay a groundsheet down as tents can be damaged by punctures and moisture. Now take out the poles and insert them into the proper sleeves of the tent. The instruction manuals are usually pretty straight forward and helpful. Place both ends of the pole in the metal rings and the poles with flex as the tent begins to take shape. Straighten the tent by pulling the material straight and making sure the poles are stretched taut to the outer point. Now secure the tent into the stakes at the corners. Make sure they are really firmly in the ground so they can resist wind and being knocked into.

Set up lakefield 10MAN TENT 2000 FRAME

Sorry I'm very late to the party, but I was just looking for the instructions for my own Lakefield 2000 tent which my bro borrowed some time ago. It's a great family tent - but not that straightforward to pitch. Eventually the instructions turned up, so I'm posting them for some other poor soul who's really stuck!61ec3342-f228-41d3-895c-127c2c5ffe3b.jpg

I need pitching instructions for a Great Outdoors Apollo 4 man tent

Take out all poles and stakes and tend and seperate.. First lay tent on ground and streatch out where you wish to pitch the tent. Then take stakes and place them in the four corners of tent through the loops so ththat when you hammer in the stakes the tent is nice and stretched out tightly. There should be two more loops on each side int the middle. When the tent is secure to the ground, take the poles that should have been put together and feed them through the hoops of the tent on the sides and top. Leave the top center parts of poles apart until you have poles through rest of loops and attatch them at the top of tent. front, back and center usually work pretty good for order. Doint middle last because it is the highest point. Hope not too confuseing. I camped a month every year for many years. You never forget.
