Question about ASUS Eee PC 1001P Netbook
Run your computer in Safe Mode with Networking, download and install Reginout software and run all of its tool to clean junk from computer drives and Windows registry.
If it didnt worked then you have to restore or repair Windows.

Freezing up issues usually caused by recent software installation, hardware modification or virus infection. Try to restore the computer back to the date where it is working fine as part of the basic torubleshooting. Power on the computer and keep on tapping F8 key. Select SAFE MODE then press enter. Once you are inside windows safe mode, click start menu then click all programs. Click accessories then click sytem tools. Click system restore then select a date where you remember your computer is working fine. Hope this helps.
