Earth on the bottom, the neutral (blue) will be on your right. The live (brown) will be on your left.

NB: Its not a big issue though if you swap the sides as the current that you are dealing with is alternating. If by mistake you swap the wires, you appliance will still work.

Essick air compressor wiring diagram

telepathy do not work that hot as in hollywood movies...

you need to provide a model or at least if this is three phase or single phase...

single phase is easy, you have cord with three wires, earth, active and neutral.

you need to open connection box on your compressor and you will find three wires there terminating in junction box, earth connect to earth (usually green or green with yellow stripes), then you have your neutral (usually brown or black) and active (usually blue or red), connect them, do not put cover on yet, plug cable into the power point and switch on/off power. check if motor is rotating in correct direction, if fuses are not blown... if motor is rotating in wrong direction - switch power wire with neutral wire, it just meant that you wired it in reverse...

do not need diagram for that...

do not forget to give some points...

I just purchased a C8FB compound miter saw , it had no switch, i have new switch but no idea where the wires go?

Hi, all a switch does is break the conection from supply to appliance
in most of these saws it can be pretty simple, assuming it is not
three phase you will have six wires 2 brown 2 blue and 2 yell/green
he switchitself should have six conectors , these can be marked
(L) live brown (N) neutral blue and (E) earth yell/green.and may say
load or supply now , the supply is the cable going into the machine
from the plug , and the other cable is the load....T.C.

Wire coming into electric shower has Red (Live) Black (Neutrl) Yellow green (earth)Wire in the shower unit is BLUE & BROWN and the Earth which one of the BLUE and the BROWN wires is the live and the...

hello martin, you obviously have one three fase cable for swiching in power. If we consider european standards the blue is neutral ; 2 blacks and brown are phases = live (now the red one here is bit more than usual in european cables) becouse they have only 5 wires and you mention 6.
  • you must inspect the ends with ohm meter and realise the right way to swich it.
  • you might have one relay inside your device and you might need to measure wire colors after relay, so be pacient and go step by step.

Plug wiring

When wiring a new plug for which voltage input?
The cutter has a white wire, a black wire, and a green one - white is the neutral line, black is the hot line, green is ground.
You can see this in section 4-9 of the owners manual, if you don't have a manual you can go to www.millerwelds.com and get a PDF file of the manual.
