There are rare devices that it wont allow to transfer files. I suggest connecting it to outlook and syncing your contacts there. Hope this helps.

When I Insert the SD card to update firmware, The Power lamp switch flashes and hand-controller Is blank! HElllppp

I don't know what you want to update, but most of the time a device, made so it can update the firmware, needs a full operating computer. As soon as it does not work, you can't be sure the system can transfer the software to the correct place in the flash memory. You could be lucky (I don't think you are) You could try switching off the system, remove the SD card and switch on.
But I'm afraid something went wrong during the transfer of the data (could be just a power glitch) and now your memory has a part of the new program and a part of the old program, making it complete worthless.
I'm afraid you have to visit a certified repair shop. and ask them to flash the correct firmware. They have special tools and connectors to access the flash memory direct.
Just contact a service centre and explain what you experienced and ask them what to do. Don't forget to ask what it will cost, before bringing it in for repairs.
Next time, please add the device name, brand, model and OS in the question. Thanks

Garmin Nuvi710 phone book detail does not match phone contacts

I can help you with the phone numbers on your Garmin Nuvi 265WT.

The phone numbers transferred to your Nuvi are only supposed to be available when your phone is paired to your cell phone. Changing the entry on your phone should allow that entry to show up changed the next time it is paired with the Nuvi. Sometimes, a bluetooth mix up causes entries to be duplicated or entries' phone numbers to get repeated.

To correct this, I recommend backing up your favorites, clearing all user data (this hard reset will remove the phonebook info from your nuvi), and then updating your Nuvi' firmware to make sure the nuvi and cell phone bluetooth process runs as smoothly as possible in the future.

Follow these three steps to take to get your Nuvi 265WT running like new:

  1. Back up your Favorites.
  2. Perform a Hard Reset.
  3. Download and then run Garmin 265WT WebUpdater to replace its firmware / system software.

I hope that helps.

How can i transfer my contacts from nokia phone to my HTC Touch

There are few tools to have. A usb cord, your PC has Bluetooth and pair with you N51 via bluetooth. Have the free software, "Nokia PC Suite". Download it from www.nokiausa.com/PCsuite. It's a free download. Once downloaded, restart your computer. (without the phone connected) Connect. It'll give you easy step by step instructions to transfer contacts to the computer. Plus, other multimedia you may have on your device. Very handy!! Then, just use Active Sync or any software you got with your HTC Touch HD. It can sync you contacts from Outlook onto the new phone. This is nice, in case your phone would crash, break, or the worse stolen. Your contacts are all backed up on the PC.
Always take a look at www.htcwiki.com for the best tips & tricks for your HTC device and software updates. A lot of times they will even post known issues and work arounds.
