Go to the Dell WEB site and request or download a recovery CD for your model notebook. You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on thislink to download the drivers: - http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen
You might want to try what I did when I had a completely discharged battery for my Dell Laptop. I attached the battery to the computer, make sure the computer is off and plug in the charger for a full twenty four hours (undisturbed). And this really worked. I had no problems with the battery. Good luck.
1st- check if the drivers are installed 2nd- check if device is not disabled 3- check if windows is not denying u access to the camera 4-check if u have the privileges to use the camera...is ur account restricted? 5- if it has never worked it might not be properly connected to the motherboard and you might need some help connecting it? 6- the device might not be functional at all...i.e it has died
Were you able to download the driver from the link I sent you?
This would affect my ability to send you any more, since Dell is a closed site. I have an account and can get to drivers I just didn't know for certain if you'd be able to download the driver with out a password.
