Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
The water is actually removed by a separate pump to the main motor. If it is new ('delivered today')was it installed and tested by the supplier? Whichever you should contact the supplier as I am assuming it is under guarantee and the drain filter should not be blocked yet- but just in case it is- (and it's very worth while knowing where things are and what to do!)---->
-------------------------------------
Here are my guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor ;-0)

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!

Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

How do I fix my whirlpool cabrio washer is showing code sD

Ideally, you just run the washer without any detergent and it'll rinse out all the soap. Try that first. My Cabrio started doing that all the time, then stopped spinning out all the water. It had a host of problems and I opted to replace the washer. Hopefully the water rinse will fix the problem for you.

I have had my Cabrio washer a little over a year. No it isn't suppose to do that. There is a setting for spinning high medium and low spin. Maybe you can change the spin setting manually. See if that works The washer is computer operated so the spinning cycle must be out on your normal cycle. I did myself a favor and I keep all clothes on towels and sheets. I set the temp for the water on what I would like manually. The washer fills up with more water and seems to clean the clothes better and My washer does the same thing from time to time about not spinning. Just remember you can set all wash manually with water temp and spin cycle. Is your washer still under warrenty?

Washer will not spin after draining.

the long drain code means that either the pump is bad or there is an obstruction to the water flow.  check the hose going to the washtub and also check for obstructions in the hoses at the pump itself.  if clear the pump is probably bad.

I just replaced the outertub/driveshaft assembly on my cabrio washer a month ago. It is now whisper quiet on spin cycle again. Go to any parts list on the web and order the "Outer tub/driveshaft assembly". I got mine delivered to my front door for about $185 total. I got the directions on how to work on it from the web. It only took a couple of hours or so. If you need the part number or part store let me knw. Good Luck.

What causes Cabrio washer to get unbalanced in spin cycle?

Try making sure that your draining hose isnt jammed all the way down the hole. When you installed it the u shaped accessory was needed for the draining hose. Try pulling the draining hose out...curve the front and zip tying it to your cold water valve. This will allow it to drain properly and not get water push back into the drum causing it to be unlevel

Cabrio won't spin and has standing water

The coupling might have broken in place and will not allow the motor to do its job. It's a $7 part that goes on the motor shaft.
