My brivis wombat 120 igniter won't work so I can't light the pilot

I have a brivis wombat 120. When room temperature is lower than required temperature, it starts to fire up and sends heating air. Now, it does start firing. If I increase the temperature testing, you can hear ant click sound from heater, but no firing. Can anyone help

SOURCE: Air blowing out - Pilot on but no heat.

Possibly overheating or previously overheated, these units are also prone to control box issues usually a buzzing noise at the unit it present if this is the case.

Take fan apart - easy. Clean with WD40 and then oil with 3and1
Works on all fans.

SOURCE: pilot light is large and

blocked pilot , lack of air so it burns yellow needs blowing out with air line or can of air , or undo and clean pilot .

I have a brivis buffalo 85 ducted heating system, from last few days it doesn't come hot air only fan is running. pilot lamp also not with flame. ignation is working. I was turm blue color lid to pilot...


you need a new thermocouple. u can either get one from a plumbing store but the can be a bit fiddley to fit or u can get the proper Brivis one it just pulls out and u put the new one in. then u have to re light the pilot light. make sure u hold it down for at least 45 sec to make sure that it is getting hot enough when u release it it will stay alight then turn gas valve to the on position

I have a Brivis buffalo 26 unit...the heating is on but it's blowing cold air the pilot doesn't seem to be light but I don't know how to relight it!


Try adjusting your thermostat, contact point possibly melt and welded by electric sparks. Replace thermostat control if contact won't get open.
