You have to reset the bios. unplug the computer and remove the side panel. isually the left side looking at the computer. You'll see the motherboard. Look fot the disc type flat bettery on the board. remove the battery (pay attention which way the nattery faces). Now look for the jumper cal, sometimes red or black. It will be labled bios or clr cmos on the board. It's near the bettery. the cap is on 2 pins with one pin open. remove the cap (jumper) and move it to the next pin thats open. if it's on the center pin and right pin move it to the center pin and left pin. after it's there a few seconds move it back. reinstall the battery and plug it in. turn on the computer and it will boot with a bioes screen. set time and date.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I updated BIOs and now every thing is gone.

Okay, sounds like your BIOS upgrade went south. First off, re-install the original BIOS. Usually you back up the original before upgrading. Either that, or d/l the original BIOS from emachines.com. Once you've got the BIOS working, try starting the system. I'll need to know more to help you from there.

I sell the replacement screens for the Triton - HOWEVER: the OEM screens that I sell (Original Korg/Hitachi touchscreens) are for the original Classic Triton and most models of Trinity ONLY - not for Studio, not for Extreme. Email me if you are interested. I am currently selling these screens on craigslist in the musical instrument/for sale section.

One Touch Keys, I can't program them

Dear Fredhellcat Please go to the following link. Assuming that HP is offering a driver for the One Touch only for Win XP this is the proper link. (I have checked both Windows 2000 and 98 and there is no such driver) http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob806en&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=73244&os=228&lang=en In there you will find the HP Pavilion ZT1000 - Windows XP One-Touch, Presentation Ready, and HP Display Settings driver and applications – 6.28mb Regards

Overclocking help plz

In your manual, go to the top of pg. 1-21. Section 1.9. There you'll find how to reset your cmos. This will reset your bios back to it's originall settings. Restart your pc & enter the bios. Reset your configuration & leave the memory to Auto.

You may need to go into your BIOS and change the settings so the PC boots from the CD, not from the HDD. It should then start up and allow you to reinstall or repair.
