Question about GE SDVR-16PII-160 StoreSafe 16-Channel StoreSafe Pro II, 160GB

1 Answer

I have 2 units StoreSafe SDVR-16-160, 1 is connected with 9 cameras and the other is connected with 8 cameras, for the last 3 years this equipment works well. However the energy supply was lost for a week and when we have power again only 2 cameras are available in each one of the SDVR's I try resetting the units, and even setting the factory defaults, but still the same only 2 cameras in each monitor Can you give a tip, how to recover my other cameras??? Thanks Antonio Garcia, Xalapa, Mexico.

The capacitors will be dried out. Replace the cameras or get an electronics engineer to replace the capacitors in all of them.

You are going to need to contact the manufacturer to have them assist you in bypassing and then resetting that second security code. There is no simple way to just get around it... it is hard coded now to memory inside the unit. You would need to take apart the whole system and take out all the internal batteries, but it is very difficult and delicate work. Then leave them out and leave it unplugged for at least an hour, that should erase the memory and all stored passcodes, but it is not easy at all.

Give GE Security a call to get assistance with this from a live person. Their number is 1-888-437-3287

Sounds like a trouble signal. Possibly a problem or difficulty with your security system, such as a loose wire, a poorly aligned sensor or a low battery status.

Anyone having problems with their Keurig coffee maker? I have had two in 9 months. First one lasted less than one month, second one lasted 8 months. Like the coffee but products they are making for

It is cheap machine for the price. The design is inefficient . Consider another brand. But in all fairness, normal maintenance is needed. 90 % of the reason things break down is due to little or no maintaining of the equipment.

Channel 3/Camera 3 not displaying properly

try swapping the cam inputs first to rule out the unit, if not the camera may be faulty or needs setting up properly with a focus adapter, or the lens could need setting up!
when CCTV company's set up these systems they have all the equipment to plug in and focus auomatically etc..
Hope this helps!
Try looking at www.digitalvideos.co.uk (test equipment) section.

I recently bought a 4 ton 14.5 SEER Rudd Spilt system using R-410 and matching Rudd furnace. This system replaced a Lennox 10 SEER 4 ton unit. Now that it has gotten hot in Baton Rouge LA 90-93 degrees....

Sounds like the Unit might be low on charge. But without correct readings not sure.
The new unit with 410 will actually cool better due to higher boiling point temp. of freon type.Poor air circulation could also cause problem.Such as dirty filter, too slow fan speed, dirty coil. Also could have obstruction in freon lines either at pump,in line set,or in coil.
Get someone u trust to check it out and ask for their Rudd Dealership Training Credentials.
