Hi my name is sean, On the front panel of washer at the top there will be a crack between the top and the front of the machine, you can use a putty knife or large flathead screwdrive, there are 2 clips on each side left and right about 2 inches in from the side, you will need to push on the clip and pull out on the front, for both sides and the front will swing out and you can lift the front off the hinges at bottom. Should be very easy. Let me know if you need futher help. The belt will be at bottom of washer by the motor.

Check with your local Pfaff dealer or local sewing repair shop. You will need to tell them the make & model machine so they can provide the right belt.

Sony dat door won't open

It sounds like a new belt is required or that the Mechanism linked to the eject function need lubrication. With no model stated I can only make a guess but the belt is a number one offender.

Need to know the configuration for installing a new belt on a Whirlpool AWA9708 7kg dryer

your model number doesn't show up but all whirlpool belts go on the same way,put the belt under the idler pulley and then onto the motor pulley, you have to push the pulley back towards the motor and then loop the belt onto the motor pulley and you want the ribs to be down touching the drum
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFnXwmUb4f4

hope this helps and next time send the full model number off of the machine, just open the door to the dryer and look around the opening where you put the clothes in you'll see a tag with the full model number

Bottom rotor is not working

Hello.

Washing machines, like any other mechanical device, occasionally needs servicing. A common problem with an older washing machine is that the spinner, or agitator, stops rotating during wash cycles. Fortunately, most washing machine problems are easy to troubleshoot. Any do-it-yourselfer can fix it; here's how.

TOOLS NEEDE TO SOLVE PROBLEM ARE BELOW.

Bucket and rags,Screwdriver,New drive belt (if necessary),New drive motor (if necessary)

1 Unplug the washing machine, and turn off the water supply to the machine. If necessary, remove the water hoses from the back of the washing machine because they may be in the way of the access panel.

2 Check that the agitator is seated correctly by opening the lid of the washing machine. If it's loose, pop off the top of the agitator--if there is one--and tighten the bolt that holds the agitator in place. Or, in some models, simply pull straight up and then reseat the agitator.

3 Remove the access panel located in the back of the washing machine by unscrewing the screws holding it in place. This allows access to the drive motor.

4 Press on the drive belt that works the agitator. If the belt moves more than 3/4 inch, tighten the belt to fix the spinner problem. If the belt is worn or cracked, replace the belt.

5 Replace the drive motor, if tightening or replacing the drive belt doesn't fix the agitator. Purchase a new drive motor at a wholesale retailer. Disconnect wiring, remove screws holding motor in place and insert new motor. Screw into place, and connect wiring.

6 Check for any black substance leaking under the washing machine. This might indicate a clutch problem, if the washing machine spinner is not working. Contact a professional repairman to replace the clutch.

Thanks.

I need to replace the belt on my Miele washing machine. Can you tell me how to do it?

Open the washing machine's back access panel.Depending on the make and model of your washing machine, you may need a screwdriver to unscrew the screws that hold the panel up.Locate the washing machine's drive belt.It will be in clear view, detach the old drive belt.Use the screwdriver to unscrew the pump coupling. Then gently slide the old belt off of the drive belt notch. If the belt is broken,be careful not to leave any pieces in the washing machine's interior. Slide the new washing machine drive belt over the drive belt pulley in the machine.Carefully stretch the belt up and over the second pulley before releasing.Use the screwdriver to re-attach the pump coupling.Test the drive belt's tension. If it is looser, tighten the pulleys to increase the belt's tension.Replace the access panel and resume using your washing machine.

Sounds like you have a broken drive belt - if a washing machine doesn't spin, the usual cause is that the belt that goes between the motor and the wash tub has worn out and broken.

The usual procedure is to open the top of the unit and locate and remove the broken belt and replace with a brand new belt, the most expensive part of this repair is the labor, and it is not that difficult for most models if you have some basic tools.

Will need your specific make and model of unit in order to look up the part number of the belt and find out how easy the replacement process is, if you can leave this information, perhaps I can help more. :)

Good luck!
