If you want a USB cord only for downloading pictures, have you considered NOT using one? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Even if you have to buy a card reader, it won't cost you any more than a USB cable.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging progam.

You just need a USB to microUSB cord. They should be available at almost any retailer that sells cameras or cell phones. They typically cost under $20, especially if you can find a generic brand. You can get them really cheaply online as well.

Please leave feedback if this was helpful. Thanks.

remove you memory card

turn camera ON > Press Menu > go to setup menu> format internal memory>

if the camera will be recognized> reinsert the MMC> format the MMC > it will delete all your pictures including the corrupted ones

most of the time its just a MMC issue

Kodak m1063 I NEED HELP PLEASE!!

That doesn't sound to good. I hope that cord didn't fry your camera. I have had a problem like that with my C613 Kodak Easyshare that sound a little like your problem, but all mine was was that my computer and camera were not connecting. I had a pro clean out my computer (because a bug had gotten into it and taken out the whole 'windows' program) and kept trying a 'BOOM' it worked. Try buying a USB cord that is Kodak brand, and made for your camera. That is all I have to offer.

I dont know how to put pictures on the computer from my camera

Dear Bernaaklt,

You will need a USB cable to link your camera to your computer. You can go to any camera or computer store nearby and take along your camera, so that you could buy a usb cable.

You could also order it on line, just google "USB cable for Kodak Easyshare M1063 camera".

Let me know if I can be of any further help.
