The desktop has the required hardware to run a 64 bit OS while the laptop does not. The version of Windows 8.1? is is a 32bit one.

Unfortunately, your software will not run on the Windows 7 operating system. The website for the manufacturer (Carry A Tune), doesn't appear functional. Often manufacturers will update their software for current operating systems, but not Carry A Tune.

Try uninstalling and Re installing but before you do that do a windows update just to make sure theres no important stuff that needs to be downloaded

Or, shutdown & restart your computer, and then click on it to launch the "first" instance.

You need to sing the songs on your own in front of the judges. Also if the wii hooks up to the internet you can download new songs.

Yahoo Unlimited does not download the songs directly to the Mp3 player - you must download the songs to the computer first, and then use Windows Media Player to transfer the songs from the computer to the player. Check your subscription for Yahoo Music - the lower level subscription does not allow you to transfer songs to an Mp3 player - you will have to upgrade the subscription. also, check the individual tracks - I cancelled Yahoo Unlimited because on many songs, you have to pay extra for the song even if you have purchased a subscription.

You can not because the songs are in different format. the only thing that you can do is to use recording chip, insert in magic sing, record some songs or record your singing then upload it in your PC using the download manager CD and USB cable

the unit comes with a cd download manager (window XP) and a USB cable. the you can uploaaad your recorded songs in your PC.
