SOURCE: i have a belkin n wireless router keeps freezing

First step of solution would be performing Reset. Press and hold the reset button about 30 seconds and release. Check again. If you need customized settings just type 192.168.2.1 in your browser and get into settings.

If issue persist please post for further troubleshooting.

Good Luck

SOURCE: cant get a green light in bitcomet

You might follow these instructions
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Belkin/F5D9230-4/BitComet.htm
(although the creation of a static IP is not necessary) if you don't make it then you might have to change the IP you forward the port to depending on whether your computer's IP changes. (you can check that under the network page you find in control panel by highlighting the network you're connected to and looking in the bottom right corner of the window) (or by opening cmd through run and typing ipconfig).

Hi jaijeetc, There is no need to worry about a hardware problem. The orange light is just telling you that you didn't have an internet connection. So no, there is no need to worry about a hardware problem. Cheers, Alex

Orange light on instead of green?

If this is on one of the local computer ports and it is blinking it is nothing to worry about according to the manual (http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/dl/p74559-b_f5d7230-4v7_man.pdf, page 11). It is just another normal status color like green but signifies a different network speed/duplex. If you are having issues with network connectivity, please reply with information such as:
1) Is the Modem light on and blinking? 2) are other machines using this router and able to get online? 3) did anything change to the computer plugged into the orange port such as windows updates or new hardware install?
Hope this helps some!

Connection issues

Retain your password and user name if any, go into routers set up browser to find this. Press the reset button on back of unit with a pen tip. Go to your pc's and go into properties of your network cards and in the internet TCP/IP properties ensure obtain IP address automatically is selected. Go back into the routers settings (normally 192.168.2.1 in your web browser.) Make sure DHCP is enabled to automatically assign IP addresses. Type in any password and user name. Also check the cables as an orange light means either no connection or only 10 Mbps instead of the normal 100Mbps. If you still have trouble you may need to clear the DNS settings so go to Start then Run and type:- ipconfig /flushdns then press enter.(note the gap between ipconfig and the /).
