My xbox 360 controller left bumper trigger wont work. I have opened it but it looks like nothing is wrong and it doesnt wiggle or move at all? please help

The contact point on the left trigger might have failed already due to wear and tear since there are moving parts, and if there are moving parts there is friction thus likely could damage the contact point of trigger whenever being pressed. The might need to be replaced in that case.

My friend brings his wireless 360 controller and when he turns it on the system and controller doesnt connect. why?

Are you syncing it? (Press and hold the small button next to the power on/off button on the Xbox 360. It's a tiny little round thing.) Also, you have to press and hold a similar button on the 360 controller, next to the RB button.
If you have tried this and it is still not working, try turning off the Xbox 360, and syncing his controller to the console first. (Meaning before you sign in, or even turn your controller on.) If this doesn't work either, I would suggest testing another controller. (Perhaps it is his controller that is faulty in some way.)

Hope this was of some help.

My controller will not link with my xbox. it just flashes 4 green lights around the circle. what can i do?

Did you sync it? here's how to sync it:

Step 1: Power on your Xbox 360 console2_bing.gif. In this guide I'm assuming everyone already has their console2_bing.gif hooked up, if not, contact me.

Step 2: Power on Xbox2_bing.gif 360 Controller. Make sure it has a battery pack that has correctly place and working batteries or charged re-chargeable battery pack.

Step 3: Locate the small circular sync button on your controller. It is near where your controller can be plugged in (between the LB and RB).

Step 4: Locate the small circular sync button on your Xbox 360 console. It is next to Memory Unit slot 2.

Step 5: Press and hold the controller sync button until the green power lights start spinning.

Step 6: While your controller lights are still spinning press and hold the console sync button. The console's lights should spin also, then flash, and finally show the player slot light on both the console and the controller.

Viola! You've synced your wireless controller! You can sync up to four controllers.
Also, you can use this guide to sync to different Xbox 360 consoles. So you can bring only your controller to your friend's house.

Note: If you sync your controller to another console, you will have to re-sync it to your own afterwords.

Xbox 360 Controller right trigger doesnt work

Your controller is most likely exhibiting a hardware failure. Taking apart the device voids your warranty. When a button does not work anymore, it is safe to say that you will need to buy a new controller.

The Logitech Chillstream Gamepad is only $20 and works in the same fashion as the XBOX 360 Controller (uses the same xb360 XInput controller driver too!)

Give that a look.

Xbox 360 won't recognize my controller!

If your controller is just blinking you must press the small button on your xbox and at the same time press the small button on the back of your xbox controller and the xbox will pick controller signal.

White button

The white button is the small button between the LB and RB buttons at the top of the controller. It is not a button used in game play, just to sync the controller to the system
