The easiest way is to run the red and white cables from your AUDIO OUT jacks (left and right) on the back of your TV, to the AUX INPUT jacks (left and right) on the back of your stereo.

Now select the AUX option on your stereo and slowly turn up the volume while the TV is on. You should hear the tv sound now coming through your stereo speakers as well. You can leave it like this and just adjust the stereo speaker volume and the tv speaker volume seperately with their individual remotes. Or it may also be possible to control the level of the audio output signal from your tv so that turning up the volume on the tv will also increase the volume of the stereo speakers. To accomplish this you would have to go into the AUDIO OPTIONS of your TV's menu and select VARIABLE OUTPUT as opposed to FIXED OUTPUT for the rear audio output level. How do you attach an x-box to the yamaha natural sound home theater system dvr s200??

Hi,

You need to use an optical cable to connect your xbox to your home theater system.
This can be done 2 ways

1) You can connect the optical cable directly from the xbox to the home theater system.

2) You can also connect your xbox to your TV by HDMI and then connect your TV by optical cable to your home theater system.

This has the added benefit of all the devices that use your TV being able to use the home theater system in the same way the xbox is using it.

what you need to do is look at you HD DVR box and see if you have an "optical" port on the back then check and make sure your home theater box has an "optical" port. if they do all you have to do is go to radio shack and pick up an audio OPTICAL cable and go between your HD DVR and your home theater box.

Bose 321 lost sound

Check wiring from DVR to TV and surround system...TV may now be getting audio signal from DVR via HDMI/DVI cable. If so, the Bose needs to be connected to either optical/audio out on DVR, or on the TV's audio out jacks. If there is only one cable from DVR to TV, that is probably the case. This is just a general solution, if it doesn't help, reply with make & model #'s of all devices involved, I might be able to help more.
