Question about HP ScanJet 5370C Flatbed Scanner
This is typicall for a drivers issue . Verify your connections first .
You need to install the latest and up to date driver . Delete the current one , DISCONNECT your device , download and install the driver from here :
Reconnect your scanner .
NOTE : HP DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS DEVICE BEYOND WIN XP ! This means , if you are using Windows 7 , your device will not work , it's useless trying .
If you don't want to purchase a new device , here is a workaround :
If you have the W XP install disc , you can install a virtual version of W XP on your machine from http://www.vmware.com/products/player/
solution two :
If you still have the install disc , you can also partition your primary and install W XP on the new partition from http://download.cnet.com/Partition-Wizard-Home-Edition/3000-2094_4-10962200.html.
Back up your data first.
I have Win 7 on my primary and installed Win XP on my secundary . Works like a charm .
Have a nice day ,
