Question about Chicco 4-in-1 Quattro Ride On Car

Open Question

After opening box and making sure all parts plus instruction booklet were included, I started to assemble product. Most of the issues were fine until we came to the last few steps. In assembling the seat back (green and yellow part) I noticed that the teeth in the back were note reaching the notech that they go in. With further investigation, I also noticed that the removeble arm rests were also not going in all the way. I have been able to assemble it but there are parts that aren't secure and there are several places where fingers and such could get pinched.

Assembly instructions for Singer Merritt 4525

The service manual for that machine can probably show you, and I would make sure and get the parts list as well. I just checked Sewing Parts Online, and it was not listed, but if you send an email to them (they give the address at the top of the page), they can and will purchase it for you. Usually takes about 2 weeks. However, I just saw a used one in nice shape on eBay for $72.99 and $27 shipping in the original box, so you might consider just buying another one. I also noticed that a new tension assembly is being sold for $18.95 including shipping, and if you write to them, they may include replacement instructions. Just do a search on Singer 4525 on ebay--they have all kinds of bobbins, foot pedals, and parts for it.

Prints very slowly

After you print a test page and establish a baseline print speed for your HP product, you determine that computer issues cause slow printing. Solution one: Check minimum system requirementsThe most common cause of slow printing is a computer that runs at or near its system resource limit. Follow these steps to make sure that your computer has enough system resources to process timely print jobs. Step one: Make sure that the computer meets RAM requirementsThe amount of available random access memory (RAM) can affect print speed. Follow these steps to make sure that the available RAM exceeds the minimum requirement for the HP product.
  1. Open the computer Properties window:
    • Windows XP : Click Start (c01827528.gif ), right-click My Computer , and then click Properties .
    • Windows Vista or Windows 7 : On the Windows task bar, click the Windows icon (c01364735.gif ), right-click Computer , and then click Properties .
  2. Find the available RAM and make a note of it:
    • Windows XP : Click the General tab, if it is not already selected. Find the amount of RAM in the list with the other Computer specifications.
    • Windows Vista or Windows 7 : Find the Memory (RAM) in the System section.
  3. Check the system requirements for your product, listed in the product manual and on the box, to make sure that your computer has enough memory. In general HP recommends the following RAM:Operating SystemRecommended RAMWindows XP128 MB minimum

256 MB recommendedWindows Vista512 MB minimum

1 GB or higher recommended Windows 7 (32-bit) 1 GB minimum

1 GB or higher recommendedWindows 7 (64-bit)2 GB minimum

2 GB or higher recommendedc01647276.gif These recommendations vary by product, so if you are not sure of the specific requirements for your HP product, look in the manual or on the box. Or, you can follow these steps to check the product specifications online:

    1. Right-click this link, Product Support Home Page , and then click Open in New Window .
    2. Type your product model in the Locate your product to get support search box, and then click Next . A list of products displays in the search results.
    3. Click your product from the list displayed in the search results. The support page for your product displays.
    4. Click Product information , and then click Product specifications .
Step two: Make sure that the computer hard drive has enough free spaceThe amount of available hard drive space can affect print speed. Follow these steps to make sure that the available hard drive space exceeds the minimum requirement for the HP product.
  1. Open the My Computer window:
    • Windows XP : Click Start (c01827528.gif ), and then click My Computer .
    • Windows Vista or Windows 7 : Click the Windows icon (c01364735.gif ), and then click Computer .
  2. Right-click on the drive containing your operating system, typically (C:) , and then click Properties . The Properties window opens. On the General tab, find the available space, or free space, on the hard drive.Figure 1: Example of hard drive information in the Properties windowc01912502.gifIn general, HP recommends the following free hard drive space:Operating SystemRecommended hard drive spaceWindows XP200 MB minimum

  3. If the free disk space is near or under the minimum requirement listed in the table above, click Disk Cleanup to free up disk space.
Step three: Make sure that the computer meets CPU requirementsIf the computer does not meet CPU requirements, the print speed might be affected. Follow these steps to make sure that the computer meets the minimum CPU requirements.
  1. Open the computer Properties window:

Extreme play in steering wheel. Experts say the front end parts are fine and they tightened the steering box. but still alot.

First check the 'rag joint" in the steering shaft. If this is good repair, The steering box assembly at the frame should be replaced. although there is an adjustment known as the (over center high point steering adjustment) the box will show as adjusted until there is a load placed on the steering assembly. Excess play in the steering of dodge trucks is a very common issue. The only true way I have ever solved this issue is to replace the steering box. ( always make sure all front end parts are in good service and within normal wear prior to replacing the steering box). ****Remember there is always personal safety at risk. NEVER leave any steering issue unresolved******
