If its a Plasma set, then the board with the fuse on it needs to be replaced. I do not recommend buying a used board from companies that sell these. I cant mention their names. They are a reputable company but when it comes to Y sustain and Z sustain modules, I wouldn't touch them. As a service tech, that is my recommendation. You can try MCM Electronics.com or Encompassparts.com for pricing and availability or have a service company diagnose it properly.

It jus stopped working as soon as i set the timer to 3mins jus light switched on for a second and its gone,,,i checked the power output in the plug point its fine...no burning smell and all...this oven is...

in most cases the reason for microwaves shutting down without warning is the fuse. in some cases the fuse will fail at its own fault. to test the fault we would do a tollerence test on the unit. but the best way for you to test it is to replace the ceramic fuse with another of the same value. if the unit works then its a faulty fuse. if the unit blows the fuse then the unit has a fault in the power supply that needs to be repaired by a service tech.

Not powering on ?

when i plug up my hitachi 61sbx59b proj. tv.
the green lights in the back come on ,a few seconds after them set tries to come up, you can hear the hv. for a fraction of a second then it shuts down.
Initially ceramic fuse was open but replacing it made no diference,r760 seems over heated,(dont know if connected).

Mitsubishi HC1600 Projector unit powers on and shuts off after a few seconds

It sounds like the unit tries to power on and in the procces hits a bad component, wich in turn shuts the system down for protection. It sounds like all the problemts the new lcd/plasma tv's are having 2 nowadays, bad capacitors are being used by the billions and now there are millions of (top dollar) electronics out there that are breaking down bgecouse of these bad caps. If you feel, open the unit till you can see the print boards. Google for an image of a "popped" capacitor(cap), they supposed to have flat tops on them, but when bad, the tops bulgde up/out and /or leak a tiny amount of fluid. Replace the popped ones (prob just 1) with one from Radioshack orso, they MUST be of SAME or HIGHER voltage then the one removed, also makle sure to install(solder) it with the negative(-) in the corresponding hole. Most the caps will be 105 temperature but Radioshack only has 85, theyve been fine for my monitors and tvs. The actual fix could be just 20 min at a $3 cost, a repair man charges around 200/300 for a new powerboard...Hope this helps some..if you decide to do it yourself, take pictures as to remember how to reassemble it and watch a video or 2 on Youtube on how to replace capacitors..I m pretty sure this is your problem!...Good luck...Ps bad caps(capacitors) can couse many many different symptoms ie; sound, picture. on off problems, only sound, only picture etc...

No power cannot turn on

Inside the unit behind the control pannel is a ceramic fuse looks like a car glass type fuse. To replace it you must remove the outer shell. First unplug the device,2nd
place on a flat work area,3rd remove the screws from the back of the unit,4th pull the outer shell back if it's stock a flathead screwdriver can be used to aid in removal,5th after removal look behinde the control pannel find the main power wires by following them from the back of the unit the fuse will be about 1" long and about as big around as a #2 pencil remove it carefully and replace it with a new ceramic fuse. The fuses are about $3.00
If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself find a repair shop it will cost about $35 dollars
Hope this helps

42" LCD HD TV keeps blowing fuses.

A ceramic fuse stands up to heat better than a non-ceramic fuse. I'm no pro, but it sounds like your power inverter board maybe bad. There are replacements out there. Good luck

What might be the problem

Sounds like you had a power supply go bad in the unit which would require some extensive troubleshooting. I'd recommend a repair facility since it may be time consuming without mfg support.
