Check to see if there is water in the bottom of the DW after the buzzing sound is over.
If the water valve engages and no water flowing (Because water valve is turned off), it will make a buzzing sound
If not the problem, try to isolate the specific cycle time in which the buzzing sounds
When a start relay and the coil that opens the water for the ice maker or the water dispenser begin to weaken they some times buzz. Its possible you will need to either replace the=> 67003753 Water Inlet Valve
The problem was fixed by replacing the "bi-metal" device. The fan was making a buzzing noise because it was hitting a build up of ice on the coils and behind the whole back panel.
The bi-metal device was bad and "bulging" out and not performing like a switch. It kept the compressor going all the time and never allowed the freezer to go into the "defrost" mode.
I also had one similar to yours, and the noise kept getting worse, even after all of the normal checks. I replaced the motor/pump assembly as a unit (that's how they were sold). Online price was ~$225. This made the noise go away for about 6 months, and it came back, getting as loud as before. Instead of putting more money into it, I bought a different brand (Samsung). I ws soooo disappointed in my KA. I don't want another. The Samsung is fine....I got it on sale. Consumer Reports rates them, the Kenmores and Whirlpools pretty highly, but check their ratings for yourself; they change from year to year. I see a lot of wierd posts for Fisher Pakyl, and I'd stay away from them.
You can look for repair parts on line, and maybe your luck will be better than mine. I certainly hope so.
