SOURCE: my machaine no longer takes the softner when on rinse .

open the soap drawer when softener should be taken and see if there is a jet of water into the conditioner box. if not, a common cause is the jets in the roof of the box blocked. poke a hairpin in the holes in the roof of the box and see if this cures the problem. if the rinse water does come in, this means that the actual water valve is ok

SOURCE: when washing iwe get a horrible smell like bad

Is this a newly installed machine?

That smell would normally be associated with drains, indicating that the outlet from the machine to the drain is not correctly fitted with a trap.

When I programme my washing machine the lock light does not come on when the door is closed, therfore it will not start.

Possible that the DOOR lock SWITCH is faulty and so the continuity to the switch and the wiring to the panel must be checked.
If there is no continuity then the switch must be replaced.

Flashing lights

There is a Light Flashing on my Indesit Washing Machine

Many of our newer Indesit Washing Machines have a series of indicator lights, which flash to indicate a possible fault on your installation or simply to let you know a problem occurred whilst you were away from your Indesit Washing Machine.

Pre wash light flashing
Indicates a failure of your Indesit Washing Machine to fill correctly. Check your fill hoses for a blockage, a leak, a kink or to make sure that they are turned on.

Wash light flashing
Indicates that your programme dial has been moved from its original position. Simply returning the wash dial to its original position will restore the light to its original status.

Spin light flashing
Indicates that the Indesit Washing Machine has considered the wash load to be excessively un-balanced. Open up the door of the Indesit Washing Machine, re-distribute the garments and retry the spin to resolve this.

End light flashing
Indicates that the Indesit Washing Machine has reached the end of a wash programme.

Wash, rinse and spin lights all lit at the same time would indicate a possible blockage in your under sink wastes system. Check out the additional informationin our 'My Indesit Washing Machine Will Not Empty'

IWE - what is this?

Hi there:
Operationally vacuum holds the IWE ( Integrated Wheel Ends ) out, and once vac is removed the spring engages the IWE.

I get the bad vacuum line ( or vacuum box ) from the fact that the problem happens after vacuum has been applied to the IWE to pull the spring out. I would also guess this does not happen when in 4H or 4L.

Here is a vacuum block diagram of the IWE vacuum system...

It could also be the IWE vacuum solenoid, there is a TSB on this LINK HERE. Also this video could helpful...

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

Driver side wheel is making noise from wheelbearing replaced wheelbearing and noise is still there if i put truck in 4 wheel drive it goes away but as soon put back into 2 wheel comes back

Sounds like a bad vacuum line to the IWE ( Integrated Wheel End ) or a problem with the IWE solenoid.
Operationally vacuum holds the IWE ( Integrated Wheel Ends ) out, and once vac is removed the spring engages the IWE.

Start by checking the vacuum line at the IWE for vacuum when the truck is in 2WD mode, and the engine is running. If you have low vacuum on one side, trace the vacuum lines back towards the IWE solenoid.

Grinding noise

I am going to guess a bad vacuum line some where in the 4x4 hub system.

As I am driving sometimes I hear a grinding in the front end like the 4 wheel drive is kicking in

Might want to check the IWE ( Integrated Wheel Ends ) on both sides.

Usually the IWE solenoid is the cause of this.

If you pull the vac line from the back of the intake to the 1st check valve, this should leave the hubs locked in.

If you do this, does the noise go away ?

If the noise goes away, you might be looking at replacing the IWE solenoid and IWEs.
Usually when this case happens, the IWE are ground down, and the 4WD does not work anymore.

Here is a TSB issued from Ford that someone else posted

4x4 switch doesn't work

Could be a cracked vacuum line to the IWE at the front wheels.

You can test with a vac gauge at the wheel to see if is there.

There is a vacuum reservoir box behind the battery box. This leads to a T on the firewall area. 1 end to the back of the intake w/ a check valve inline, the other end to a check valve to the IWE solenoid behind the battery on the firewall ( in the PCM area, those 3 large connectors ).

From the IWE solenoid the line runs to a t, and to each IWE.

I would start with checking for VAC at the IWEs, some times cracked lines do happen at the IWE. NExt would be the IWE solenoid if the fuse is good.
