Great question the issue can be with your Internet provider and their speed allotment for your end from their end. Or the burner is an old one with not much speed with it. It has to be at 7200 RPM and able to burn at 24 or higher per second on a burn actually the slower the better because it will stop a lot of glitching with a slower burn and not miss anything in between because the slower the less CPU Speed it will use up.

To just make a copy of a DVD or CD I personally use XPBurner Pro free version. Click Here to download the free version. Full download! This is just an alternative. When I convert avi movies to play in a regular DVD movie player I personally use WinAvi 8.0 this is a quick software conversion and burning process about 10-15 minutes to convert and burn movies from off the Internet. Just a suggestion. Click Here to download this link for the software.

Here is the code for it.
Name: Regnow Order
Code: EBE95B780B867091C8F6D58FE5B65B9EBA6E8D9D2075F3A5

I hope that this assisted you with this issue, please be sure to place a vote for me if I assisted you in any way! Thanks for using Fixya! John

Computer lags when playing games

You really need more Ram. But if that's not an option, then open "Activity Monitor" under Utilities folder in Apps folder. Go to User Processes, and you can see exactly what's taking up your Ram and slowing your game. Quit each process and hope for the best. Don't fool with the System Processes section; you might quit a process that is essential to running your computer.

The movies that u are burning are being copied to your computer, even in a compressed format that will take up space. Are u loosing h/d space. Are u using a copy program that uses the h/d as a temperary storage?
