We have a proclick p210e binding system that has jammed. We can see the paper down in the slot, but it doesn't come loose. I took off the bottem, but didn't get anywhere. How can I un-jam this machine?

Printhead cartridge jams

Hello, sorry took so long but, seems to be a paper jam or loose ink cartridge, open lid with unit unplugged and try and see any paper jammed in rollers or pieces of paper, then with that done and hopefully fixed but if not, close lid and turn unit on then open lid to access print cartridges make sure they are installed right and the right ones in the right slots if the cartridge unit don't move so as to load cartridges in try to gently pull it to position as a cartridge may have not been locked in or jarred loose.good luck hope this is of some help.

My Brother Intellifax 5750e has paper jam issue. The paper jam sign will not go away. I took out the paper that was jammed. Still problem.

take your drum unit/toner out and close door to see if "jam" goes away. if so, look closely on bottom of drum unit in the middle. may be a scrap caught in there. if jam doesn't go away, you may have a piece caught in the fuser which is just b4 paper exits and that area is not easily accessible w/o tearing machine down.

good luck,

Paper jam won't clear, but there is no jam

I had this same unit and had this problem. What I found it to be was a small piece of paper was stuck down inside where the sensor is. This doesn't allow it to clear the code off of the display. I pulled the cartridge out and took my air compressor in the garage and gave is a good cleaning out. Worked fine after that.

here is the manual p4 and p16 discuss the topic:
Duplex printing 1
The supplied printer driver supports duplex printing.
Guidelines for printing on both sides of the paper 1
If the paper is thin, it may wrinkle.
If paper is curled, turn over the stack, straighten it and then put it back in the paper tray or the Manual Feed
Slot.
If the paper is not feeding properly, it may be curled. Remove the paper, straighten it and turn over the
stack.
When you use the manual duplex function, it is possible that there may be paper jams or poor print quality.
If there is a paper jam, see Paper jams in the User’s Guide. If you have a print quality problem, see
Improving the print quality in the User’s Guide.
Manual duplex printing 1
The machine prints all the even-numbered pages on one side of the paper first. Then, the Windows® driver
instructs you (with a pop-up message) to reinsert the paper. Before reinserting the paper, straighten it well,
or you may get a paper jam. Very thin or thick paper is not recommended.
Simultaneous scanning, printing and faxing 1
Your machine can print from your computer while sending or receiving a fax in memory, or while scanning a
document into the computer. Fax sending will not be stopped during PC printing. However, when the machine
is copying or receiving a fax on paper, it pauses the PC printing operation, and then continues printing when
copying or fax receiving has finished.

 Manual Duplex
Check Manual Duplex. In this mode, the machine prints all the even numbered pages first. Then the
printer driver stops and shows the instructions required to re-install the paper. When you click OK the odd
numbered pages are printed. There are six types of manual duplex binding directions available for each
orientation.
 Booklet Printing
When you want to print a booklet, use this function. To make the booklet, fold the printed pages down the
middle.
 Binding Offset
If you check the Binding Offset option, you can also specify the offset for binding in inches or millimeters

How to open dell 924 printer case relieve paper jams?

Please follow these steps:

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

Trigger jamming

I suspect that the cable to the carb is binding. Make sure when you reassemble the box, the cable works properly. Put the box together loosely and keep checking the action. Position the parts if it binds. Good luck!
