The screen on my Acer Aspire 4315 goes white quite frequently. I have to use the button to turn it off and then back on. I don't know if this is a Windows Vista problem or a problem with my laptop. Can you help?

- Thanks cation007. I don't really know how to do that (update graphics driver) but I'll try to figure it out.

Its no a software problem. Its just the LCD cable got loose. All you have to do is open the cover and reconnect the LCD cable back rather than sending it for repair when you can fix it yourself.

I am looking for a quad-core min 4. GB of DDR3 RAM.
I also want a better GPU then just the intregrated one so that I can truely play games hi-res, just search me the best laptop you can find, but not from dell, that includes Alienware.
Thanks in advance

My laptop freezes after start up. I start the computer and it runs normal until right after log in. I have roughly 30 seconds to 1 minute after logging in before the fan turns on and the laptop starts getting quite warm on the bottom. At this point the computer runs extremely slow and stops loading anything that may have been running. Also, I cannot start the laptop in Safe Mode... when I try this it restarts and brings up the screen asking if I want to open in Safe mode, Normal mode, etc... all over again. It boots fine in normal mode until right after log in. eMachines 6805 w/ XP.
